To use one, you have to become the official owner by making a pact with it, much as you would with a familiar” Demon WeaponsDemon Weapons, also known as a Demon Tool, Devil Arms, Demon Sword, Satanic Weaponry, and Unholy Weaponry are weapons used by those whom are typically Knights, but that's not always the case. Knights are able use any kind of bladed weapon. Some demon weapons can be used by other meister types, but these weapons are usually not swords. The exact power the weapon possesses highly varies on the type of demonic force it is powered by, it can be either capable of small yet effective feats or possess power that is capable of controlling vast of forces of the demonic plane.Regulations Only Knights (and Demons) can use a Demon Weapon that is a Sword.
The user must apply for their Demon Weapon before they are approved to fight a demon and retrieve its soul and forge their demon weapon.
The demon sword attempting to be created must be approved before the fight with the opposing demon.
Demon Weapons must be approved by KogaP and Demon Fights for a Demon Weapon must also be approved by KogaP.
It is possible to have two Demon Weapons; if a Knight applies for a pre-created Demon Weapon from Legend they are still eligible to create a demon weapon with their own abilities. Other users may also apply for a second demon weapon, but they have to be precreated through the Guild, they are unable to create their own.
Demon Weapons can be used by Demons as long as the Demon Weapon Type is Soul Based. They can apply for a Demon Weapon just like other users whom are not Knights. Limitations Demon Weapons may be overwhelmed by Divine Weaponry.
Demon Weapon may require a Host body in order to be used.
Demon Weapons may require a sacrifice of some sort.
Demon Weapon may overwhelm the will of the wielder if they’re Qi is too low, causing them to appear demonic and lose their sense of self.

Creating Demon Weapons
When creating a demon Weapon you will need to completely fill out the Demon Weapon Candidate form, which can be found in this thread under the section called Candidate Demon Weapon Form. This section alone will explain to you how to create a demon weapon and how much Qi it will take for your character to utilize the demon weapon. Pay very close attention in the information, once your demon weapon is created you will before forced to keep the weapon, you will not be able to edit it, as the Demon Weapon will be saved in the Library of Demon Weapons with your character name as its master . Something else to remember, it is possible to break a demon weapon, but not all demon weapons can be repaired. So it is very important to select wisely and make sure you take care of your demon weapon.
The Amount of Qi, in which will be added together will tell us how much Qi your Demon Weapon holds. When you go through to create techniques for your demon weapon, the Qi of the Demon Weapon will decrease each time attacks are used. The amount of Qi that an attack is worth is based off the classification of the attack; Classification is also used here to figure out what kind of Demon Weapon it truly is. All the attacks of the Demon Weapon does not have to be the same as the classification. But the higher the Qi, the stronger the attack typically is. Now, when dealing with special demon weapons that have special abilities, the amount of Qi that it takes per use is depleted based on the Classification of the Demon Weapon itself. Abilities tend to last longer and because of this the amount of Qi that each ability is worth is equal to that of the classification of the weapon itself.
Next the Demonology of the Weapon is very important, due to the demon's soul that the weapon was forged from contributes to this. The Demonology of the weapon will let you know how many extra techniques, abilities, or even increase in Qi your weapon will gain, this can come in handy if the Demon Weapon's Classification doesn't offer you enough techniques, abilities, or even Qi that you need to utilize its full potential in combat. So choose your Demon Weapon's Demonology very carefully.
Note: If your Demon Weapon runs out of Qi, the user can use their own Qi to utilize their weapon's abilities or techniques, but this drains the user. The user can also use their Qi from the very beginning, and keep their Demon Weapon in perfect condition. Once the Demon Weapon's Qi reaches zero the weapon can be destroyed easily by being overpowered by a Qi based attack or another Demon Weapon
Demon Weapon Types
Soul Bound
Qi Amount: 5,000 Qi
Qi Regaining: During battles, Soul Bound Demon Weapons are able to regain 10,000 Qi once every other post.
Description: Soul Bound weapons are special Demon Weapons that give out a sort of energy wave, called a Soul Wavelength. Souls generally have their own Wavelength of a particular frequency and Knights (User) who can make Demon Weapons typically are a little more sensitive to these wavelengths. They are able to match their own wavelength with that of a demon’s soul and link their souls together. Soul Bound weapons have a special connection with their Meister. This connection allows the Meister’s soul to be used as a sacrifice rather than having to have an actual sacrifice to activate the unique abilities of the Demon Weapon. This special connection comes at a price. If the sword is damaged in anyway then the Knight (User) will suffer as well, if the weapon is destroyed the Knight (User) will be taken over by the demonic soul wavelength in go berserk for a short period of time, but once they have been calmed down or knocked out the Knight (User) will enter a state of temporary death until the sword is repaired. Soul Bound weapons cannot be sealed within a physical body. Because they are linked by the soul they don’t necessarily need a host to activate. But the energy will come from the Knight (User) whose soul is linked to the weapon.
Host Bound
Qi Amount 10,000 Qi
Qi Regaining: During battles, Host Bound Demon Weapons are able to regain 40,000 Qi once every two post.
Description: Host Bound weapons are different from Soul Bound weapons, as these weapons require the Knight (Users) to place the weapon inside of their body through magical means, as to hide the weapon or carry it a little more efficiently. Host Bound weapons require the user to have a Norito in order to unseal the weapon from their body as well as a specific location that the weapon will exit out of. Host Bound weapons are easier to fix as they don’t put their master in a temporary state of death. Host Bound weapons are unable to be used by anyone but the one whom is its True Master. If someone tries to use the weapon of a Host Bound Knight (Users) they will suffer some form of attack from the blade itself; these attacks can be electric shocks, fireballs, ice prisons, but is not limited to any of these. These are just a few things that may happen.
Offering & Norito (Host Bound Types Only)
A Norito is a special incantation that the Knight (User) must say in order to retrieve their Demon Weapon from the seal placed on to their body. Each Norito is different and the length varies, but no Norito is smaller than a sentence. An example of a Norito is the one used by Shura from the original show.
Example: “Devour the Seven Princesses, slay the Serpent.”
After speaking the Norito, in order to utilize the special techniques or ability of the Demon Weapon; using Shura again as an example, she would bite her thumb and rub the blood down the face of the sword until it reached the end of the blade. This counted as her offering. Arthur A. Angel, used a strand of his hair for his offering. Some offerings may be larger due to the abilities or strength of the Demon Weapon. In order to fulfill the pact between the user and the Demon Weapon the conditions must be meet with perfection.

Type Qi Amount: 25,000 Qi

Description: An Anti-Unit Classification are those specialized against defeating other people in single combat. Compared to stronger weapons, they will not go beyond defeating other beings no matter how strong the Qi they wield. The advantage over stronger weapons is that they can be compared to guns with unlimited ammo while Anti-Army are one-time missiles. Missiles are more powerful, but an Anti-Unit can be continuous.
Anti-Army
Type Qi Amount: 100,000 Qi
Technique Qi Usage: 50,000 Qi
Grants:
Allows Demon Weapon to have 3 Techniques
Allows Demon Weapon to have 1 Ability
Description: Anti-Army Classification are those with a wide enough range to be specialized against armies. They are more powerful weapons than Anti-Unit, capable of easily blowing them away, but they must be used more wisely because of their larger cost.
Anti-Fortress
Type Qi Amount: 500,000 Qi
Technique Qi Usage: 200,000 Qi
Grants:
Allows Demon Weapon to have 1 Ability
Demon Weapon loses the ability to have techniques
Description: This classification has powerful abilities or techniques that can even blow away solid fortified structures. While the difference between Anti-Unit and Anti-Army is the variation in area of effect, Anti-Fortress types are distinguished from other categories by the great difference in power.
