IntroductionBelow is our Ranking system for the guild. This ranking system in particular is for those whom are Exorcist. As you can see below we have our ranking chart which shows you the positions from the highest rank, down to the lowest rank. Below the ranking chart is a detailed explanation on the ranks as well as the characters within the guild who fall under that rank. Each rank has specific requirements in order to proceed onward, there are also specific duties for each rank that we can say are typically things you would see members of that rank performing. Examinations Exorcist are tested to ensure they are ready to move forward within the True Cross Order by taking multiple exams after filling the required material for their rank increase. There are four main types of examinations used within the True Cross Order to test Exorcist. First there is a Proficiency Exam, which is required at every rank to take, these exams are usually geared towards teamwork of some sort and can take multiple forms. Second there is a Qualification Exam, which is a test through physical, mental, and spiritual skills. Third we have an Exhibition exam, which basically is an exam that can be taken in place of another exam due to missing one or failing a test due to a technicality. Lastly there is a Trial exam which is usually a quest of sorts which can last up to a year (rp time).Applying to Increase RankFor the most part, the Exams that are offered will be announced, and there will be a sign up for those who are willing and ready to move forward within the Order, although if some want to have an increase in rank over a short period of time in order to move ahead in the guild, they can request an Examination within the Order. They must have two senior Exorcist sponsor them and then fill out the following information and send it to KogaP, whom will then either accept or deny the application, if the application is accepted they will be given a location to meet their proctor and then they will be given their exam, which tends to be harder than the normal version of the exam when taken during the scheduled time. If denied the rank increase they will not be able to move forward and will have to wait until the scheduled exam date.

PagePage is the lowest rank in the True Cross Order. Pages are entry-level members of the True Cross Order. Page-level individuals tend to vary greatly in their knowledge and experience concerning Demonology; ranging from absolutely zero knowledge of Demons to those who have some training. All pages attend the Exorcist Cram School at the True Cross Academy campus located in Japan. Under the disguise of normal students, Pages learn the most basic elements of Exorcism, ranging from Anti-Demon Pharmacology and Holy Scripture studies to Physical Education. Additionally, if a page has not obtained a Masho (Spirit Wound) , a trained exorcist will assist in obtaining one. If a Page is deemed qualified enough to advance to the next rank, an Exwire Authorization Exam is organized. Basic Exorcism skills are tested, as well as the Meister the Page wishes to specialize in.Duties Pages have no official duties under The Order, the only duty they have is to learn about Exorcisms and pass the Exwire Authorization Exam in order to become an official member of The Order. ExwireExwire is the rank above a Page. To become an Exwire, a Page must pass the Exwire Authorization Exam. The exam consists of the Pages secretly being put to a test of some sort which test teamwork skills as well as which Meister a Page categorizes in. Exwires are still students of the Cram School but they gain a little more freedom and access to the Academy, and gain duties to help the Academy or new trainees (Pages) that enter the academy. The skill of an Exwire also varies, depending on the additional training they may be skilled beyond the rank of Exwire but until they take their Qualification Exam to be an Exorcist they will remain an Exwire until they complete and pass this exam. Some Exwire take the Qualification exam many times before they pass. The average number of times an Exwire takes the exam is four. Duties Exwires usually do menial jobs, such as cleaning demon cages, helping to collect samples, and even assisting in classes that are geared towards Pages. However they still study demonology, a study of demons to know their category, strengths and weakness and a way to counter them.

Lower Second ClassLower Second Class is the rank above a Exwire. The Lower Second Class is officially a member of the True Cross Order and is seen as an Exorcist, although they don’t pull any rank within the order due to being one of the lower ranks. Lower Second Class Exorcist are qualified to guide other Exorcist and lead missions. Lower Second Class Exorcist reached a level of maturity and ability that primarily consists of leadership skills and tactical prowess. Exwire who do not have the skills to become Lower Second Class are weeded out in the Exorcist Qualification Exam. Duties Some duties of the Lower Second Class Exorcist consist of and are not limited to, teaching Exorcist classes at the Cram School, serving as a team leader in charge of small teams who need to make decisions and utilize the skills of the exorcist under their command to the maximum effect. They also perform small class exorcisms for Churches and villages. They typically handle strange sightings of phenomenon that sound demonic, for investigative purposes only, not to engage in a situation unless told otherwise from a higher ranking exorcist.

Lower First ClassLower First Class is the rank above Lower Second Class. The Lower First Class act as a special class of Exorcist, usually they are within the skill level of a Middle Second Class Exorcist but they lack the experience to be considered one. They have Middle Second Class ability in a specific area or skill, much like warrant officers in militaries. They are elite specialist in their areas and are often assigned a subordinate to regular Middle Second Class Exorcist when their services are needed. Duties Duties of the Lower First Class vary, but they are usually focused around their Meister type and the skills they have within their type. Some Lower First Class are used for interrogation means, infiltration, or even espionage.

Middle Second ClassMiddle Second Class Exorcist are also called Elite Exorcist are generally highly experienced exorcist with great individual skill who serves as military captains. They are often sent on missions even during the time they are performing their daily work. It is not unusual for a Middle Second Class Exorcist to go on a mission alone, but they are typically suggested to take along two others with them. Middle Second Class Exorcist are typically teachers at the True Cross Academy Cram School. They usually teach full time, and sometimes assigned a team of three or four students consisting of either Pages or Exwires to supervise. Duties One of the main duties of a Middle Second Class Exorcist is to help instruct and train Pages and Exwires to become competent Exorcist. They also are sent out on specific missions and obtain missions or duties for their small squads to complete. The only way Pages and Exwires are allowed to go on mission is if they are escorted and watched over by their sponsoring upper class exorcist who is also called a mentor.

Middle First ClassMiddle First Class Exorcist are also known as Exorcist Commanders. This is a position in which the Exorcist has shown their skills, knowledge, and experience of exorcisms and has completed the True Cross Cram School. They are the highest ranking a typical exorcist ever reaches. They belong to a council which gives them say in important matters such as choosing a new Paladin as well as defending or prosecuting other exorcist or demons who have to sit before the Grigori. But they are still official an Exorcist themselves, they tend to do more office material and teaching than field work. Duties The duties of the Middle First Class is extremely straight forward, they are required to teach a minimum of two classes at True Cross Academy, one being a Cram course and the other being one of the normal academy. They are required to sit in on trials that require the Grigori present, they are also required to protect the Academy from any upper level demons that attempt to enter through the barrier protecting the Academy.

Upper Second ClassUpper Second Class, is also seen as the Special Assassination and Tactical Class, they take orders directly from the Pope or the Grigori, performing special high-level missions, such as assassinations and torture. Upper Second Class Exorcist work in teams formed to the requirements of the mission, ensuring maximum success. Upper Second Class Exorcist protect certain stationed areas designated to them from exceptional threats, conduct high risk mission into Gehenna, and deal with extremely strong demons. Duties The duties of Upper Second Class Exorcist is to maintain protection of Assiah, they are placed into specific cities which they are considered the guardians of that area. They only enter the scene when extremely powerful demons appear and they are tasked to eliminate the demon quickly and quietly without spurring up too much commotion about the demon’s appearance. They also tend to eliminate or change the memories of humans who may have seen them working or other exorcist in the area who did a messy job.

Upper First ClassUpper First Class, are inspectors of the Vatican, they are given a few specific duties and one of them is hunting down demons certain demons and humans that could be potentially dangerous to mankind or extremely helpful under the guidance of the Vatican. They are also used as internal spies for the Grigori to check on any rumors within certain divisions of The Order. They tend to blend into their environment well pretending to be other people, other genders, or even younger than what they truly are. Typically they are just called spies, but their skills don’t end in espionage but they range into assassination and tracking.Duties Upper First Class Exorcist duties revolve around finding the truth behind rumors within The Order, they investigate murders, strange phenomenon, demon sightings, and even the slight chance a demon may be hiding within their ranks without previously identifying whom they are and their background. They also tend to play the part of executioner to specific demons and humans whom have been found guilty in a trial by the Grigori.

ChancellorChancellor or known as Honorary Knights are demons whom had joined True Cross Order in order to battle against Satan and other demons that have threatened Assiah. They have pledged loyalty to Assiah and have left their life as a Demon that kills humans behind in Gehenna and took up the art of Exorcism, they are knighted by the Queen and given a blessing by the Pope. Duties Honorary Knights are usually used as weapons or last line defenses against threats, they typically guard places and run areas where Exorcists train or live in order to keep them safe from threats that most couldn’t defeat on their own.

Arc KnightsArc Knights is a position in the Vatican True Cross Order system. It is a ranking between Upper First Class and Paladin. It is a rank that only Four are awarded. They are Knighted as official knights of the world, and hold the most brass under the Paladin. The Arc Knights each represent a different direction and they run different branches of the Order based on the location of the branch. They are selected carefully among everyone that applies, or is hand selected by the Paladin. Duties To protect Assiah and protect the Grigori along with the Paladin when the time comes for their safety to be a number one priority. The Arc Knights are only called when Upper Class demons appear that usually fall into the category of S-Class.

PaladinPaladin is the highest ranking exorcist title. In any time period it is observed that only one Paladin exists. Only exceptionally talented and well recognized exorcist can obtain this prestigious title. The Paladin oversee the activities of The Order, from sending Exorcist out on their missions to making the hard decisions regarding the safety of the people of Assiah. Duties The Paladin’s duty is the protection and safety of Assiah from the Demons of Gehenna and preventing the return of any of the Demon Lords to Assiah especially Satan.
