APPEARANCE: Kenji is a rather tall man. He is 6'2 and very slender. Due to his very tall frame, it is hard for him to gain any muscular look to his body. He is toned, but he doesn't look like he belongs in a strong man competition anytime soon. Don't let appearances fool you, though, he's still strong. Kenji's hair is a very dark black, and it's long for a male but kept very neat. In the sunlight it shines purple, but it's a faint sheen. Kenji was born with burgundy eyes, that look a reddish purple. Due to this, most people tend to think he looks sinister, or possessed. You will never catch Kenji in casual clothes, not even blue jeans. He always wears suits of some sort, or a business casual attire. His philosophy is "you never know who is watching". Kenji leans more towards black suits with black shirts, red vests, and red ties. However, he has been seen in white button-ups and grey vests before. Although Kenji has a keen eyesight due to being a Dragoon, he does need glasses. When his Qi takes over and he is shooting, he can go without them. As a normal, non-Qi using human, he needs them. He also likes to wear white gloves when he is on official business, because this way "he doesn't get his hands dirty".

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Everyone notices Kenji as he walks in the room due to his whole stature. He is a tall, malevolent looking man with his unique reddish purple eyes and dark hair with a purple shine. He holds himself high, never slouches, and usually holds his hands behind his back as he walks. He often looks like he is walking slow, but do to his long legs, he travels a greater distance with less effort than most. Due to his favoring of darker colors, such as black and red, a rumor has been started around True Cross that he is a vampire.

Kenji comes off as a mysterious man. If he is in a crowd of people he doesn't know, he tends to stand tall, chin up, shoulders back, hands clasped behind his back, and quiet until approached. This way he can never come across wrong to an onlooker. Being in the position he is in, Kenji can never afford to be taken less seriously or brushed off by his colleagues. He never comes off as rude this way, surprisingly, but seems to come off more intimidating. He doesn't use fear like the Paladin does, but it never hurts if people felt timid around him. He was definitely someone to be frightened of, if you ever pissed him off.
Kenji is not someone quick to anger. He is a calm man, keeping his head level in minor situations, like an argument, and in major situations, like a battle against a high level demon. You'll never see him blow is lid or burst out in tears. A lot of people who don't really know Kenji believe he doesn't have very many feelings at all. This however, is very untrue. Kenji feels very deeply about most situations, he just often keeps it internalized. He can't even show the Vatican that he cares deeply about anyone, so then they could never use them as leverage or make them one of his targets out of cruelty. Kenji cares for the Vatican and hopes they'd be better than that, but the corruption he's exposed to makes him feel differently.
On the surface, as stated before, Kenji is a mystery. He's quiet and very watchful. However, once someone actually speaks to him they'll see that he is very...vibrant. He's flirtatious with men and women, and his tone is kind of sinister. He doesn't mean to come off as evil, he doesn't really realize the tone he uses with people. His intent is the greater good. Believe it or not, he can be kind of silly at times. If he is overwhelmed by a mob of teenage school girls, he gets nervous and kind of clumsy. He never expects is flirtations to escalate.
Most people think Kenji is cold because he kills whoever he has to without question. He has no regrets about how much blood he has spilled over time. Kenji doesn't think this makes him cold, though. It was his job as the General of the Eastern Seas. He accepted the title knowing full well his duties, and he would not fail. Kenji is very prideful of himself and his abilities, as he should be. He's one of the best Dragoons among all the exorcists.
LIKES: Like any man of class, Kenji enjoys a glass of red wine whenever the chance arises to drink. He also likes firearms, taking an interest in everyone he comes across. He likes suit shopping. He enjoys work when he's sent on a mission. He likes wearing a clean pair of white gloves before killing anyone, throwing his bloodied pair away as a symbol of washing his hands clean. Kenji likes a clean shaven face on himself and other men. He likes a good book every once in a while. He all around enjoys the finer things in life, spending a little too much on trivial items. He likes the attention he gets from younger exorcists, male and female, about the suspicion that he is a vampire.
DISLIKES: Kenji can't stand the taste of white wine. Pour him a glass, and he might slap you. He also doesn't like swords or daggers, finding most of them useless in a true battle. He doesn't like people who don't "dress to impress" on a daily basis; sweatpants and a hoodie are a huge no no. He hates paperwork and being stuck in an office. He can hate work itself, disagreeing with the Vatican on a lot of issues. He dislikes a dirty pair of gloves. Kenji is not the biggest fan of beards, and will never understand people who like them. He dislikes cheaply made items. He hates any rumor that he might in fact be a demon from Gehenna.
HOBBIES: Suit shopping. Nothing satisfies Kenji like going to buy a brand new suit to wear. He can enjoy work, nothing gets the blood pumping like sending a bullet into someone's skull. However, he disagrees with the Vatican on a number of issues and when work and his moral code collide, he can't stand work. Kenji likes going to the gun range like any Dragoon would, and he also enjoys going gun shopping. His biggest hobby, behind suit shopping, would probably be being a huge flirt while maintaining his mysterious personality.

MY HISTORY: Kenji was born to a loving mother and a hard working father in Nagasaki, Japan. Kenji's family was rich, very rich, and was known to all who lived in Nagasaki. His family wasn't noble by any means, his father was just the hard working CEO of Sony. His father and mother struggled in the beginning but worked for their fortune. Kenji was lucky enough to have been born into the money. Kenji was supposed to go to business school and take over the Sony empire, but that quickly changed for him.
When Kenji was only a little boy of four, his father ended up in the hospital. When Kenji visited him after he was out of the ICU, his father had an unbelievable story to tell. It turned out that the VP of Sony, directly under Kenji's father, was so jealous of the man that a demon took control of his heart. Wanting to kill Kenji's father, the demon tried to help the VP obtain that. Luckily for Kenji's father, the Vatican had caught wind of the impending attack and a middle first class exorcist came and saved Kenji's fathers life just in time. The VP was also spared from death. Kenji's father explained how he owed his life to the Vatican, and how he planned on sending Kenji to the Academy when he was old enough to attend the Cram school. The least he could do to repay them was have them mold his son into a capable warrior. With his son trained and prepared as well, he wouldn't have to worry about the same thing happening to his only child.
Kenji felt as though he owed the Vatican for his father's life as well, so when he applied to the Academy, he was accepted for his incredible high marks. Kenji's father didn't have to spend a dime on his education because he got enough academic scholarships to get him through. For this, his father gave him all the money he would have had to spend on him in the Cram school, which contributed to Kenji's attire and expensive "toys". Kenji graduated with the highest marks in his class, and went on to work for the Vatican.
Once in the Vatican, Kenji worked hard to move up in the ranks until he was number three in the whole world. There was the Paladin, The General of the Southern Flames, and then Kenji. Unfortunately, throughout his climb in the Vatican, Kenji discovered the corruption that was in the system. It turned out that the Vatican only saved Kenji's father because he had a lot of money, and they knew if they saved the CEO of Sony that he would continue to contribute money to the school for many, many years. Kenji was heartbroken at this fact, because he could only imagine how many families were ripped apart by demons and not helped because they could never give the Vatican something in return. Although this news was devastating, Kenji decided to still serve the Vatican in hopes to one day be Paladin and change the course of their thinking for the better.
Kenji has directly served Ignazio Barthomeloi the first for six, loyal years. He works directly with the man and sometimes acts as his body guard. Due to this, Kenji has been involved in the Barthomeloi life since Ignazio the second was twelve years old. Kenji had often spent the night at the Barthomeloi mansion due to early missions with Ignazio the first or because Ignazio the first needed the body guard throughout the night. Kenji has witnessed the cruelty of the man towards his only son with his own eyes. He couldn't stand the sight of Ignazio the second being abused, so Kenji often consoled the boy after his father lashed out. He couldn't understand what it was like to have a hateful father and no mother for comfort, so Kenji tried to be there for the young Barthomeloi. Ignazio the first had no idea that Kenji treated his son that way, but he did know that Kenji didn't like how he treated his son and he tended to favor him. This often causes a few riffs between the otherwise perfect pair of Generals. As Ignazio grew older, he seemed to not appreciate Kenji's sympathy as much. This lead to Kenji often teasing the boy, but not in a harsh way. He was often flirtatious around the young exorcist noble, like he was all students. Ignazio the first hadn't fully witnessed this behavior out of his body guard, but he knew Kenji enough to know that he acted that way with everyone. Ignazio the first is one of the very few people Kenji actually cares about, because he watched the boy grow up in such hell. He only hopes that Ignazio stays on the right path, despite his father's cruelty.
Kenji is still serving Ignazio the first in the Vatican. He is sometimes sent by the General under secret to go to True Cross to check on his son and report back. Kenji always enjoys going to see Ignazio, whether he enjoys seeing him or not. He has good report back to the Barthomeloi father, and never says anything bad about his son. Kenji is sent on assassination nine times out of ten, and those are his favorite missions. It's always high-ranking demons possessing people of power he has to kill, but sometimes he has to kill a normal human. Due to the rune he carries, Kenji has a lust for human flesh and blood. He satisfies the thirst by attacking his targets assigned to him by the Vatican. He either shoots them then devours them, or he devours them while they are alive. Which ever he decides.
RELATIVES: Hiro Sakamaki (Father): Kenji's relationship with his father is very good. He wouldn't be a high ranking exorcist without his father. He loves to visit his father at his cooperation, but he only visits when he feels as though he is not being watched. He doesn't want to draw demons to his family, even though he was warded them well.
Maiko Sakamaki (Mother): Kenji's relationship with his mother is very good. He wouldn't be the upstanding man he was today without her. She nurtured him as a young boy and always supported his life decisions. Kenji loves to visit his mom, but again, will only do it when he feels he has neutralized his threats.
MY GOALS: Kenji hopes to one day wipe the corruption out of the Vatican. He wants it to be more about protection than about politics.

VERSE ABILITY DESCRIPTION: Once the glyphs have been made, they raise into the sky and seem to disappear. From there, fire begins to rain down from the sky in a 200 meter radius. This flames are supernatural and purifying, and only burn that of demonic relation. If they hit the ground they will disappear without harming the earth. However, if the flames hit a demon they will sink through the human vessel (if there is one) and burn the demonic entity themselves. This will force the demon out of the human or, if their is no vessel, cause extreme pain and exorcism.
VERSE RITUAL: Four glyphs must be made, and placed in the four corners of the radius that the Aria wants to be effected. Once they are made, the Aria can scatter them to the areas needed.

VERSE: "The water prevailed more and more upon the earth, so that all the high mountains everywhere under the heavens were covered. VERSE ABILITY DESCRIPTION: This verse allows Kenji to control the water in the environment. This could be a lake, a river, or the moisture in the air. The glyph drawn purifies this water and it acts as holy water when used against demons. Kenji manipulates the water to either shoot it like a gun or dowse the enemy. It's especially effective against Kin of Ilbis.
VERSE RITUAL: All that is needed is the recital of the verse and the drawing of the glyph.
FATAL VERSE NAME: Winds of Heaven
VERSE: "When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. VERSE ABILITY DESCRIPTION: When Kenji speaks the verse, he is able to expel wind from his palms. He moves his arms as if he was punching, but instead of a fist his palms are flat. The wind can come out in full force softball size forms of wind that can rip through rock. He can also expel them in the shape of blades that can slice through stone.
VERSE RITUAL: Kenji just speaks the verse and begins to fight.
FATAL VERSE NAME: In the Beginning
VERSE: "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements—surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?"

VERSE ABILITY DESCRIPTION: When Kenji draws the glyph on the ground, he merely stomps on it with his foot and the spiritual energy travels through the ground. He is then able to control the effected earth area. If he stomps on the ground again, he could cause a massive crater. He can also kick up huge boulders and send them towards his opponents.
VERSE RITUAL: He must stomp on the glyph once it is drawn and the verse has been said.

RUNES: Lino Doue
EXPERTISE: Marksmanship: Kenji is a notably good shooter. He seems to always hit his mark, no matter how fast it is or how well hidden it is. Most acclimate this to the True Solider ability, but even Kenji outranks most Dragoons at his level. The Vatican says he may be the best marksman of all time.
Assassination: Kenji is not only an expert with guns, he is an expert in the art of killing. He can figure out how to kill anyone in secret, no matter the situation. Even if they are in Time Square surrounded by thousands of people, Kenji can take them out and never be found or charged. He can practically blend in with his environment, and he can spot the perfect area to sit where he can kill his target. Being a master at assassination also comes with being an expert at disguise and disappearing.
Demonology: Being a higher-up in the Vatican, Kenji is required to know every Demon in the book. How to recognize them, how to battle them, and most importantly, how to exorcise them. Although it's in his job description to be an expert on this subject, it was his favorite one in school, and he still knows more than his comrades. If Kenji ever went to Gehenna he could probably label every demon correctly.
