I looked off into the distance
And all the people sang out
Yet I turned my head
And cried as they knew not the truth

My heroic acts
The things that they don't know
What they all forgot they saw
Lies in my heart and tears it appart

What they saw
And what they now forget
It was the sacrafice
For saving the whole world

As I let out the tears
That tear my life apart
I cry that my acts
Have all meant nothing in the end

A light hand taps my shoulder
And they say, "You saved everyone. Nothing you have done is pointless."
And I gasp
When I see who it is

"And you care for me why?" I asked
"Because you were able to beat me... the unbeatable beast." he replied.
"But they have all forg-"
"I haven't, have I?"

I smiled
Brighter than the sun

I wrote this out of boredom... as usual. It's just kind of a cute poem telling the story of how a girl saved the world and its people, but she had to make everyone forget they saw it or knew she saved them in order to save them, but the one who she fought didn't forget and told her so she would be happy. Not all evil is 100% evil. smile
