So far I've just got the one OC who I'm going to try to adapt from my original concept
of him as a troll on Alternia so he works as more or less the same person on Beforus
as well (for RP reasons andbecause I'm too lazy to bother with any other / new OCs).

Soooo... Some personality info, here we go!
Linden tries to be nice, he really does, well he kind of tries, he'll make a cursory attempt to make
a good first impression and if for some reason he feels he's failed he'll give up entirely and act
like the cold and calculating little jerk he actually is. Unless he thinks someone might be useful
to him for one reason or another, then he'll suck up to that person like it's his job.
Going along with this he likes to act like a scholarly, well read individual, and there's a part of him
that really genuinely believes that he's the intellectual he's pretending to be. But deep down he
knows that he's almost all talk. This has left him with conflicting superiority and inferiority
complexes. He thinks he's this well read scholar who's better than other people but tries to
befriend them anyway, but that's just a cover up for his actual personality which is a wheedling
little s**t who evaluates people based on their value to him and then has no problem throwing
someone under the bus if they don't measure up / fulfill some need of his. He is aware of the
truth about himself, but he doesn't like to face it, and when he does face it he wallows in self pity
for a few days; the self pity leads to him feeling like a martyr and that gets him back on his high
horse until someone or something forces him to recognize his flaws again. Its a cycle.
Also depending on where he is he might pretend to be more physically adept than he is, even
going so far as to lie about having killed other trolls. In actuality Linden is only good at taking
hits, not dealing them out. Not even a little. He talks big and then can't back his s**t up, he's
that guy.
Now for some skills / interests...
Linden is actually really interested in history, and the ways that history ends up being
written down depending on the outlying factors that shaped said history. He actually knows a lot
about history but, because he's afraid of letting people in on the one thing he actually genuinely
cares about, he never talks about it and instead pretends to know about other subjects. He
could actually be the scholar he's pretending to be if he's stop lying and let himself be just a tiny
bit vulnerable for once. It does slip out sometimes though, which is why he couldn't resist
making his chumhandle: EmphaticHistorian
He's surprisingly good at puzzles, and other mental activities of the like.
He's also relatively capable with distance running, but not sprinting. He's got endurance but no
real power.
And some dislikes / weaknesses...
He generally dislikes people who see through his facade, unless he considers those people
useful, in which case he'll resent them but try to get back on their good side.
He also dislikes the real-world applications of history like politics and law, not that he'd ever say
as much, in fact he pretends to know a lot about those things.
Linden is really bad at most kinds of physical labor / anything that might cause him to sweat.
And he's bad at controlling his temper / contempt for people once he's done pretending to be a
reasonable scholarly type.
Alternia Backstory...
His Lusus is mostly a cow (with just a dash of scorpion) and, unlike most, it required him to learn
to farm. Given that Alternia is a fundamentally vicious society (compared to most) where it's not
uncommon for young trolls to kill each other to keep their lususes fed, having to farm made
Linden something of the odd man out. He relentlessly tried to keep this necessary endeavor a
secret which feeds into his duplicitous nature and his compulsion to lie and keep secrets.
