Hey everyone, Sal here. I didn't see a thread like this and thought it might be neat to have something like it.

Basically, what this thread is for is to be a hub for creative brainstorming. A place for you to just toss out ideas into the wind and see where it goes!

The only rule I ask is that before posting an idea of your own, add onto or give your opinion of someone else's idea. That way we're all helping each other to hammer out our work.

I'll go ahead and start with an idea I have for a short story: A man finds a deed to some land out in northwest Kansas while helping his Grandfather to clean out his attic. His Grandfather tells the him to put the deed back where he found it. The man persists and the Grandfather grows furious. The man eventually agrees and puts the deed back, only to find a series of letters from his Grandfather's brother that detail a series of horrific occurrences that happened to him on the land he owned. The letters stop abruptly and the man investigates. (From here, I'm kinda drawing a blank.)
