Personality: Corwin is hot-headed, stubborn and lacks respect for authority, making him a “rebel” of sorts. But he’s a nice guy with a great sense of humor, albeit sometimes biting. He often runs into confrontation without thinking because he believes if he dies he will come back to life. Cory is definitely cocky but he’s always well-meaning and playful.
History: Corwin was born into the Taylor Empire. His father a successful businessman and his mother a failed actress turned trophy wife. Cory didn’t like having everything done for him or watching his parents display their dominance over the house staff. His parents said he hung with the wrong crowd and there is some truth to that. Cory’s friends were ‘activists.’ They wanted equality and justice for all. One of his friends tried to get him to join an anti-mutant group, he declined because he truly believed in these ideals unlike his so called friends. Later that week at a mutant rights benefit, an anti-mutant group attacked. During this event, Cory was shot. He was dead long enough to have a funeral. During his ride to the grave yard, he’d returned with the ability to create a dermal armor made of bone.
