Biography: Basil had a particularly average life for the first ten years, he excelled in school, he liked arithmetic and choir and art. The only thing that really bothered him were the weekly visits to the library, he didn't care for reading much, seeing as he had dyslexia. Things definitely changed when his mother, Dominique, married a rich guy and they moved towns to live with him. Basil didn't like Mr. Harley much, so he kept his mother's maiden name. Middle school was rough for him, school was getting harder (mostly the fact that he needed to read in every class) and he didn't have time to make friends if he wanted to keep good grades. His mother never paid him much attention, he just thought she expected him to do well and not get in trouble. Come high school, Basil realized his mother didn't actually care what he did, and being as she was gone on fancy, expensive trips out of state and even out of the country for extended periods of time, he just stopped trying so hard. He started failing his classes, sure (all but choir and art), but he started finally getting friends, or if not friends, then a social life he enjoyed. People in all different "groups," people were drawn to him when he opened up and decided to be more social, he was a very charismatic and charming person. One of his upperclassmen friends on the football team eventually convinced his to start throwing parties when his parents weren't home, so his sophomore year after junior prom (he had a junior date, could you expect any less?) he threw a huge after party. His stepfather's house was huge, so he had no problem accommodating for a hundred or two people. He always had his stoner friends bring weed, he always had pizza, and he always had booze at his parties, and what else do you really need to entertain a bunch of teenagers for a while? On occasion, he would break out the wine to impress whoever he wanted to have sex with that night. His parents had to have noticed at some point, but he was very diligent on keeping the house in order, so they didn't care. He wasn't usually very personal, he liked to keep his charismatic party face on most of the time, but he did have one close friend, a boy named Gabe. Gabe was quiet, and not an outgoing as Basil, but liked to drink and party as much as Basil, so they got along well. Gabe was driving with a bunch of other drunk people one night and they got into a crash. One of the other passengers died on impact and Gabe died in the hospital due to blood loss. It hit Basil hard, and sent him into a severe bout of grief. To no ones surprise, his parents didn't care, so Basil ran away.
Likes: Basil is very social and extroverted, so he really likes being around people. He also has always enjoyed art and music and can always appreciate the aesthetics of nature. He likes most fruit, especially strawberries and apples. He took a few years of guitar and piano lessons and only knows how to play simple stuff, but enjoys it nonetheless.
Dislikes: Basil resents his stepfather, he likes to blame him for how his mother abandoned him, but deep down knows nothing could have changed how she treated him. He also doesn't particularly care for cats, his stepfather had an old one for a few years after his mother married him. It attacked him one day and he's been biased towards the furry critters ever since.
Personality: Very charismatic. He knows what people like to hear and knows exactly how to say it to induce maximum flattery. He is fairly shallow, and quick to judge people, but has the potential to be extremely loyal and a good friend or boyfriend. He isn't particularly trustworthy if he doesnt like someone, and is quick to sell them out if it is to his advantage. But he would never do this to a friend.
Weapons: He doesn't have any, he has never been in the position where he would need to defend himself.
