Do Not Judge. ''You don't know what storm Hey Ryo,
When it comes to something like this, I understand that sometimes the same way to quit doesn't really work for any two people. I can't say, I've never smoked, I have supported others in trying to quit and watched both my parents give it up (I was born with asthma they got serious when they saw it was making me very sick).
I think that remembering your children is a fantastic way to start and stay motivated. I've also heard other things perhaps you can take into consideration or try. I've heard/read:
-- Less and less amount of cigarettes on you at a time and as time goes on lower the number.
-- Keep something in your pocket/possession that you can reach that can keep your hands busy when you want one like silly puddy, a pen to click, ect. Keeping your hands busy can help keep attention away from it.
-- Have you considered using the vapor cigs? Less nicotine from what I understand.
That's all I got off the top of my head. Would you consider writing a list? Perhaps something to write on to reflect what you are going through when you want one the most? Perhaps reflecting on the list can help you focus on what you are going through when you want it the most and come up with ideas to try around those situations.
Remember, the first day you stop you are already a day healthier. Take it slow and work your way up.
I've asked her to go through.'' ~God
