Do Not Judge. ''You don't know what storm

This is a great series. I have to say as someone that isn't too big on zombies, vampires, ect.this is my favorite vampire anime and here is why: in this series vampires are seen in a different light a tad different from being blood-sucking killers. Yes, they drink blood but they are more interested in what is IN the blood.

Say if one vampire is attracted to ''vanity''. They will be drawn to a person that is rather vain and will suck that quality out of them. So, for a time that person is not quite as vain. One vampire is drawn to ''stress'' and is able to help an overworked mother not be quite as stressed over her life.

Well, that is what I like most about the show, but it's about a young day-walking vampire girl that gives OUT blood (a blood bank's best friend) when she is under large levels of stress.

I share the synopsis, because not a lot of people I come across have heard of it or have a chance to watch it as it's hard to get a hold of a physical copy (we lucked out when we did disks with Netflix way back when).

But if you should happen across this anime and this sounds interesting, check it out sometime!

On another note....any Karin fans out there? xp

Oh, me! ME! I AM! *Jumps up and down excitedly.* Well, I've read all the manga, haven't seen the anime at all. I love it for the exact same qualities you mentioned, and I just love Karin's soft-spoken nature. I love the fact that she's the only one in the house who can cook, lol. My friend Duckie got me into it (she got me into lots of anime/ manga, including Sailor Moon and Pokemon).

Interesting that you mention she gives blood when she's stressed out... I don't know if it's a difference between anime vs manga, but I know that in the manga it was specifically a part of her "monthly cycle"... lol. sweatdrop

Happy to see another Karin fan... Didn't know it was so rare though, lol.

The anime is not that good. I have tried to watch but could not finished. You are much better off reading Chibi-Vampire. (The original Manga)

*looks left and right with a very serious demeanor...and breaks it quite abruptly and squees with you, jumping up and down.*

I'm not a manga reader. Books are always better for sure! Wow, seems we have a lot of anime in common. Sailor Moon was my first!

Eeck, it was a menstrual thing? Uuggh! Wow! That's so bizarre!

Well, I really enjoyed the anime. I loved the hunter. And how dense he was, but that character wasn't quite what I had expected. I don't know if he's as delightfully ditzy in the manga but seeing his shadow in the opening credits had me thinking all sorts of how he must be the coolness with that hat.

And the opening song is awesome. If you haven't heard it, I recommend listening to ''Scarlett, opening Karin Theme'' on youtube sometime. It's awesome!

And I say it's hard to come across, I suppose for some not so much that might have ways to get it from the internet. It's just I know I've not seen it anywhere else and the set is hecka-expensive!

Manga/books of a show/movie do tend to be better. I'm sure it's great!

The ending was pretty epic, I think. It's been a while for me, too. I remember just really also being curious where they were going with the story. I loved the younger sister and the Grandmother. The characters are very memorable in that show!

I'm probably going to need to figure out how to get a hold of it. I doubt all episodes are on youtube (I don't mind checking, just incase) but it was kind of rare how I'd gotten a hold of it in the first place. Netflix just so happen to have been able to ship it to me before. And the complete series is $50 +. I have it on my wishlist on amazon though. But who knows. Perhaps I'll figure something out soon enough! I always do! cool It's my special power.

Uh... Sorta...? I mean, it was a once-a-month thing, and the intro to the manga sort of played it off that way, but they may have been (half) joking. Anyway, I know it did only occur once a month.

I do recommend reading the manga. I've heard Duckie complain enough about the anime, lol. And now that I think of it, I believe I watched the first episode somewhere and I wasn't impressed. It seemed like they dumbed down parts of the storyline, but I never watched anything past that, so who knows?
