Ao no Exorcist: Days of Destruction

Back to Guilds

People who play with the lives of others are Gods? Would the Gods really try and use us as Pawns? If so are the Demons the same as us?

Intro
Tamers use Demons, known as familiars, to fight for them in battle, help them with certain tasks that would be impossible for a normal human to perform on command, or even prepare the perfect lunch. To summon a familiar, the summoner needs a Magic Circle, their blood, and an appropriate appeal. There are an incredibly small amount of humans who can summon Demons and make them their familiar. To tame Demons, one needs both natural talent and a high level of spirit fortitude (displayed as confidence in one’s self, as well as a lack of fear). If a familiar senses that their summoner is lacking in spiritual fortitude, the summoned familiar will turn against their Tamer and attack them. To prevent this, the destruction of the magic circle will reverse the summon. There are some Meisters (secondary Tamers) who aren’t officially Tamers but are able to acquire familiars by gaining their trust. These familiars can’t be summoned they tend to be with the summoner at all times or within the same realm as them in a physical form.

Within the guild there will be opportunities for not just primary Tamers but secondary tamers to gain additional familiars to their arsenal of Demons under their dominion. These demons will be announced in the form of an event. In order to gain the approval of the Demon you will have to prove your strength to them in battle alone without help from others. If the one trying to capture the Demon receives help they will not be able to gain the familiar and the demon will need to be exorcised rather than captured. Now below is a list of the different types of Familiars you will see that may appear at random or during your assignments or it might even be your assignment.

Primary Tamers Only
There two methods in which a tamer can obtain a new Familiar. Primary Tamers who are born with the innate ability to bring forth demons from Gehenna are able to use both methods. This first method is completely random, which the tamer visualizes an incantation and it will bring forth the demon. The tamer has no control over which demon they summon but they have the option of forming the pact with the demon or sending the demon back to Gehenna by destroying the magic circle. If a tamer does decide to keep the demon and make a pact with them they will be forced to gain the demon’s trust. This is how the random summon works for Tamers.

The Tamer must make FIVE post of preparing for the summoning, which includes drawing out a magic circle and preparing the incantation that comes to them from the environment they set up. On their FIFTH post and the actual summons being performed the Tamer will generate a random number from 1 being the lowest to 50 being the highest. Each number that falls represents something different, and as new familiars are added to the guild list the lower the chance one will have of obtaining certain demons. After finishing the summons you will need to battle or speak to the demon to gain its trust, which must last a minimum of FOUR posts. Once you do the random number generation, you will notify a moderator and they will NPC the summoned demon for you. Once you’ve gained the Demon’s trust, you will PM KogaP and he will give you your next steps, which will be filling out a new familiar code and getting it approved. KogaP will personally place the approved information within your profile. Below is a list of all the demons and which number(s) they represent.
