Thanks for letting me know you were making this event, morgan! here's my poem. I hope halloween stuff is allowed? Cause I love halloween. :
Leaving home, bearing flowers down a dark graveyard you wander
as you enter with pious intentions you awaken something from its slumber
a chill goes down your back, step briskly forward now, don't look back!
It follows you through the fog slowly gliding along, as you trip over a rotten log
run my friend, run right through, or the putrid dark will grab hold of you!
the flowers forgotten on a tomb you run as fast as you can, through the gloom
then a hand comes from the ground, down below the dead, ireful of the disturbance, wail and bellow
as you sink for the final time, you look back and see your wife, with a bloody knife in her back
she followed you, of course she did and was done in by the third one who hid
she had brought with her a purse, as you two planned to elope once you visited the graveyard to pay last respects to the ones gone
but as you sink, she falls, and bleeds, there is no hope.
In the morning the police will find you, half buried in the soil find her stabbed, investigative efforts foiled
but for now you watch the third one run away, with her purse as the dead strip your flesh away
first your eyes go, then slowly, painfully, the rest your penalty for disturbing the lost, during their rest
On Hallow's eve, the night of fear which you two in your love, chose to not hold dear
the old tale of this frightful night and now, too late you lost your light
Now fall into the darkness, become a future warning to fools like you, as your family sits quietly, black in mourning.

Yeah, Matt, anything is allowed as long as it's not sexual/drug/religious themed. That's quite an original one though. Just don't change it! By the way, I'll be seeing you in our color concept class next tuesday, right? >W< Or did you not work out the kinks in your financial aid? D:

Ok ok, let my words fly..
A white knight walks through the frozen plain, not knowing whether the battle is won. She walks, seeing others fight, others in pain, she only wishes it could all be undone.
She keeps walking through the unknown, preparing herself for the next fight. As she walks, she steps on bones, not sure whether to fight or flight.
Finally, she sees him, the man in black, Shivers going down her spine, she clutches her blade. Could this be it, the final attack? She charges at him, her decision made!
Their blades clang against each other, hacking and slashing with all their might. The white knight knew this was her brother, but she couldn't, no, wouldn't, lose this fight!
With their blades locked, she let out a yell, He was shocked and pulled away with a fright, her blade piercing his heart as he fell. It seems the victor was the courageous white knight!

Those optics of his were glistening a soft azurite hue. His mangled jet black locks brushed over his shoulders. How could she resist him. He wasn't like others. Pulling the female into a pinned position against the wall, His fingertips glided along the pale skin that pulsed with dark, blue veins. "Do you want me to do this?" His deep voice rose, Those words escaped from his even thin-lined lips. Either way, He was going to do it anyways whether she liked it or not. She hesitated, His cold large hand wrapped around her throat firmly. She couldn't help but to be brought into a submissive state. Leaning her neck towards her side. Allowing her hair, only to shield her vask features of her face. Goosebumps formed upon her soft skin. How could she be so mad? To let some bloodsucker take her like this. Her emerald green eyes were brought to a shut, Dealing with a silent battle in her head. The male brushed his lips against her soft velvety skin. She could feel his hot breath emanating from him, as he struggled to make up his mind. The pulse of his heartbeat fastened. The beast inside of him was yearning to be released. He wanted to savor, such a nice girl. She was his first. Abruptly, He came to a conclusion, His grasp tightened around her throat. Parting his lips, he punctured his sharp canines inside the soft, radiant flesh of her throat, suckling rather slowly. She gasped out in agony, Her fingernails dug into the fabric of his shirt. He grunted deeply as the crimson red, liquid flushed down his throat. The sensation tingling on his tongue. "Just a few more drops," He told himself. Before he even knew it, Seconds had already flashed. The female was left unconscious in his arms. .

Alrighty, I'll give this a try. I WAS good at poetry at one point, I don't know how I am now. So, here goes nothing: Canada Well, here we are A land strong and free. So let's hop in the car, And go take a tour.
We all assume Silly things about these people. But yet we resume, To poke fun at these people;
They ride on a Moose, While drinking Syrup. Wait, Moose have hooves, So it can't be different from a horse.
Their housing is strange; They live in an igloo. It must be hard to arrange, A nice house party.
They have a special sport, That goes by the name of Hockey. There is a big report, On this silly game.
In their Home and Native land, With True Patriot's Love, In all their Son's Command. They appear to be a happy bunch.
All in the while, When you hear them speak. Don't be alarmed at their style, If they use "Eh?"
If you ever meet one, Please be aware: They have overdone, The use of "Sorry"
Just remember one thing, Even though we act differently, There is an important something. We are all the same.
We are no different from you, We are all equals. No matter on your point of view, There will be no change of that.
Born strong and free, With glowing hearts, We will always be, A one of a kind.
