Lostledge Estate Actually built into the side of a cliff, this estate is one massive 'building' that faces out over the dark waters of the Pearline Lake.. And the land bridge that connects this cave-home to the bright lands just beyond Lostledge's gates. Light does enter this place easily, but the estate is left in a state of shade all hours of the day.. and a wicked darkness during the night. Considering the rather long drop should one fall over a railing.. The Master of the home finally gave in and allowed electricity to be installed in the ancient manor, false-lights filling the void to ensure the safety of the residents.. and a impressive security system that would put most to shame. The place is now as modern as most homes, computers and what-not placed in certain rooms at the request of his servants.
The owner of this home is Uso Ezio, and unexpected guests are.. ill-advised.

 Uso Ezio  Theme Song The car's rumble was quiet in the courtyard, its door closing with a soft 'thump' as Uso stepped away from the vehicle and started towards the front door of his home with determined strides. It had taken him three days.. though no doubt it would have taken him even longer if not for that cowardly boy's confession to what he had done to Lilian's prized possession.. Sold to a lowly slave-house without hesitation! If not for his promise, he would have beaten that boy.. as it was the fool had gotten off with a restrained punch to the jaw and a warning. If anything had happened to it.. A low sigh escaped his lips and the man slowed his pace.. the irate silver of his eyes calming to a deep grey as he regained himself. It did not matter at this point, the Neko was safe now and his word had been kept.
Just in time, too.. He’d had to outbid a buyer for the brat in his arms. Asleep, no doubt from some drug or other, the girl had slept soundly on the way here and even now.. held in his arms in a bridal embrace.. she was only just starting to stir. With luck there would be no lasting effects, and the female would be in good health. According to the slavers she had quite the personality, but considering whom had owned her first it was no surprise to Uso.. Lilian had been a firm woman but also affectionate and kind. It was little wonder her slave would be a handful, but the only way to be sure she was treated well was to keep the little female himself.
Ignoring the stray tendrils of hair that had escaped the binding at the nape of his neck, Uso did not blink as the rebellious little locks fell around his face stubbornly.. A hint at how exhausted he really was from his merry little chase. Victorious or no, the man did not seem overly happy in his triumphant return; If anything his posture was aggressive. Lilian’s son had dared to pawn off a good chunk of her belongings.. His work in repairing that was not nearly finished this night, but at least he had secured the most important piece.. Finally relaxing a little he realized he had already entered his home and had paused in the main hall, actually surprised to realize he did not know what he was going to do with the girl. It had been a mad dash to find her.. perhaps he should hand her off to one of the servants until a room was prepared..? (( Forgive my bold treatment, I'm a bit sleepy and I could not think of a better way. ))

Nami was sleeping peacefully in the man hands. She had a long journey before he finally found her.
As she heard the bad news about her dear owner, Nami rested in her room when everything started to change. It wasn't long after her funereal. A man, claiming he was the new owner of the house pointed over her direction and smirked while ordering two other guys to take her. Before she could even react she could feel their dirty hands cuffing her and taking her without explaining anything. No matter how much she tried to resist and clawed one of the guards, they didn't seem to back off, but instead only tried harder to calm her. The last thing she saw before passing out from some sort of injection, was the man's smirk who seemed to be pretty amused with the little show that was in front of him.
When she woke up again, she was in a tiny room, tied , with some other girls who seemed to be just as lost as she was. All of them seemed to be annoyingly obedient, which made her pretty mad, trying once again to escape and cut the ropes. Once the guards understood they are dealing with a rebellious , they decided to let her sleep the whole action show.
Her ears twitched as she was in his arms, smelling a familiar scent. Her body was still on the affection of the drug, so it took her a while to wake up. Her eyes slowly opened, her mind feeling blank as she looked up slowly. Her tail swung as the memories slowly flew in her head "W..wah.!" she gasped and rushed to push the guy's face "Get your dirty hands off me!" she ordered without thinking. She was sure it was another of those guys she had seen lately

Uso Ezio Theme Song So lost in his thoughts was the man that by the time he glanced down again.. A startled pair of eyes were looking back up at him with a very obvious shock. She'd woken up. " Nami--" Opening his mouth he had meant to put her at ease.. It had been a nice thought, yet the hand that landed on the side of his lips firmly ended any such attempt. Another slender hand landed against his temple, fingers ruffling his hair and sending his glasses askew as she attempted to defend herself.. Uso closing his eyes as he very carefully reigned in his frayed self-control.
Keeping a firm grip on the girl he did not resist her panicked touch, refusing to budge under her pushing yet.. letting her get it out of her system as he exhaled against her palm quietly. His voice, when it came, was slightly muffled.. however he was certain the girl could hear him as he informed her in a almost gentle tone. " I am acting on the behalf of the late Lilian, my name is Uso Ezio.. Try to remember brat."

She was indeed in shock, and her hands kept moving on themselves , protecting its owner with their best ability. She did not claw him for some reason, she wasn't so sure why herself, but her instincts told her she wouldn't have to fight him , and so it was. The man remain calm even though she was not gentle with his face. As her hands got a little tired she let them be over him still, showing she wound't give up easily.
Her ears twitched as he spoke to her gently, not showing any anger, aside from the fact he called her a brat. She took a long breath and slowly calmed down, moving her hands away from his face, but her body still on stand by mode, just for any case
"L..Lilian..?" she asked slowly and bit her lip, saying her name was indeed painful, now that she was gone. She looked down slowly, recalling good old times. She snapped out of it and rushed to look up at him, she could not lose her guard, not now. She gulped before speaking again "Your scent.. its familiar..." She whispered and leaned in a bit closer to his neck , sniffing him before moving back "Who are you.... Uso?" She asked slowly

Uso Ezio Theme Song When at last the girl stopped her mischief the man waited a moment, ensuring she was not gearing up for a surprise attack.. before slitting open his eyes to study the she-devil in his arms. No doubt his jaw would be a little tender tomorrow, perhaps even his cheek and chin.. but it was nothing serious, and considering she was passive now it seemed like a small price to pay. A small shake resettled his glasses, however his hair was already disheveled thus he paid it little mind. Taking the opportunity to look around he noticed two of his servants, the Butler and the Cook staring at him with obvious concern.. but he shook his head again to warn them off, he was not finished with this spit-fire yet.
Who was he.. Now that was the tough question. Was he a 'friend' of Lilian? Or perhaps one of her projects.. In the end he settled for what made the most sense in his mind. " I visited Lilian many times, as both an adviser and a companion. I.. owe her a debt. Saving you is the start of repaying the old woman; So I am giving you the choice to stay as my slave or leave as a free person." He had no interest in a slave that bemoaned its fate, if she wanted to go he would let her.. however he did not accept 'guests', if she remained at his side it would be as a functioning part of his home. Lifting the girl a bit higher he started up the stairs, deciding to leave the room issue to the Butler.. For now he would place her in his room until a proper one was cleaned and designed to the girl's taste. He would be sleeping in the Den, it seemed..
Walking down the almost gothic-style hall he came to the rather large door at the end, pausing a moment to lean closer and grab the handle with his hand before toeing the thick wood open rather easily.. Stepping into his room and striding to the bed with careful steps. The room was neat, in darker earth-tones and almost antique styling.. Save for the large flat screen tv that rested on the wall to the left of the King sized bed. Under it stood a double-door cabinet which held the remote and wiring to his Netflicks; At the very least she would not be bored. Setting the girl down on his bed the man waited a moment.. then knelt before her, studying the girl with an experienced stare. " Are you feeling ill at all, dry mouth or a headache?"

As she waited for his answer, her ears twitched lightly, she felt someone was watching them. A quick peek was just enough for her to see his employees staring at them with unpleased look, but she ignored them for now. She peeked back to him, just in time to see him shaking his head over them, calming his crew down. In fact , their care for him showed he was a good owner, like good old Lilian was. She somewhat felt relief he had found her, no matter who he was.
As he spoke and explained shortly who he was for Lilian, and why did he saved her, it all made sense. The reason for his scent being so familiar was actually the fact that he had been to her house few times. But for some reason whenever he was around, she was not allowed to walk out of her room on her own. Lilian was not a fool, that guy must have been in his worst when she found him.
Thinking about the option he gave her was rather quick, she would rather live in this house, than go outside to her 'freedom' as he called that. For her it was not freedom, but rather stray.
She stayed quite as he carried her around, looking at the house and how well designed it was. This man was wealthy for sure, maybe he got it from Lilian, but she didn't believe so, the old woman must have taught him how to deal with life for sure. As he placed her down on the soft bed she touched the sheets happily, finally a decent bed, though she figured it wouldn't be her room. Her thoughts were cut by his sudden kneel and his gaze over her "ah..! i'm.. fine" She whispered, not looking to his eyes. She didn't feel sick, at last for now. The only thing she could think of is the fact she hadn't eat much those last few days. She gulped and looked over his direction slowly "I think.. im just.. well.. " She whispered slowly. It's been a while since she needed to say those words "Hungry.."

Uso Ezio Theme Song For a long moment Uso did not respond.. as if looking for a hint that she was trying to hide some discomfort or other. In the end however, realizing she was being honest with him, the man's shoulders relaxed a fraction and he exhaled softly.. His eyes closing as that stoic mask of his slid into place smoothly. No negative side effects that he could see, and no serious mistreatment to the girl.. Lilian would have still been upset at her pet being so shaken, but her son would suffer for that soon enough so he would not hang on to the issue for now. No.. the matter at hand now was feeding the girl. " I see.."
In truth, aside from a few random glimpses he had never noticed the girl in Lilian's home.. For good reason of course, his friend had known the sort of devil she'd brought home that first night. After that time it had simply been a matter of anonymity on his part, a innocent witness was still a witness after all.. And while he knew a few stray facts about her from his friend's rambling little of it was coming to mind as he considered what to do for the girl. Moving her around more than this was unwise, side-effects or no being drugged had to have worn her body out.. " Sharon, the Cook, can prepare something and have it brought up shortly.. Use the phone by the bed and press 7 for the kitchen. She should answer you." This once, only this once, would he tolerate food in his room.. After she recovered and settled in he would have to ensure she understood his rules. Uso was not a pet-person, nor was he as gentle as Lilian.. He would attempt to be patient as they figured out some sort of balance in the situation.

As the man stared at her after she had given him an honest reply she could feel his hesitation at first. She wasn't so sure why would he think she will have any side effects. She saw herself as a strong and healthy cat, or so Lilian had always reminded her. Even when she got injuries, the healing process was fast. She figured the reason he was so worried was the drug she was getting those few days, which would explain the fact that he hadn't place her down on her feet even after she woke up.
Her tail moved slowly from side to side, her little hunger confession , and the fact he was still looking at her made her cheeks change their color to soft pink.
As he finally answered and mentioned the cook bringing food to the room she looked at him with big eyes. Lilian would've never allow this to happen, not in her house at last. She always mentioned how important it is to eat together in the dinning room. Her gaze looked into his as she spoke "No" She said stubbornly "i refuse to eat up here, this room was not made for eating food in it" She insisted and got up on her feet. As she did so, she could feel for the first time that her body may have not recovered from the drug as the man in front of her suspected. Her legs felt numb, and she could no longer lean on them, falling over the man as her body was just a doll

Uso Ezio Theme Song " You are in no condition to argue." It was reflex, not intent, that had Uso reaching up to capture her upper arms.. Standing in a smooth motion to allow her slight weight to rest against his larger frame. She really was a small thing, who knew a delicate package could be such a handful.. However the girl was entirely too oblivious to the situation. Keeping her against him Uso reached up with one hand, the light reflecting from his glasses as he pushed them up the bridge of his nose thoughtfully.. A habit he had when reconstructing his 'civilized' mask. " I have work to do, Nami. Be a good Kitten and do as I ask, I will check in on you in a bit." This girl had been precious to the old hag and regardless of her obviously outspoken nature he would not be overly rough with the Neko. He didn't show it, but he was wavering.. too tired to argue with the girl if she pushed the matter of eating in the dinning room.
Were pets always so disobedient? Iano had loved dogs, but Uso found the beasts to be annoying in their simpleminded behavior.. Loyal or not if a creature couldn't at least think for itself he had little use for it. Cats, he had heard, were far more intelligent and this female was proving the fact.. The Staff at least would get a kick out of her.
Turning his head the man noticed the butler standing in the doorway, the man-servant waiting patiently for his Master's attention. No doubt it was a shock to see Uso with a slave, but the old man hid any surprise he felt very well behind that firm expression of his.. He'd been serving Uso long before his hair had greyed, and despite his strict up-keep of the Estate the man was actually a gentle sucker for kids. Considering the youthful mind of Nami, Uso knew the old man would take very good care of the girl. " Markus, good.. This is Nami, she will be staying with us. Nami, this is Markus; Show him respect."

As his instincts worked and held her in her place, She felt somewhat guilty now. She peeked up slowly to see him fixing his glasses. She figured she messed up by getting up and trying to stand out to him. Her ears lowered back slowly, showing their obedient side. She didn't want to cause any more problems, well, not more then she already had, so she figured agreeing would be much easier for both of them.
As he mentioned he had work to do, she noded slowly and peeked back to the bed, wondering if it was really alright for her to eat on those clean sheets.
She looked down slowly and secretly thanked Lilian for making someone care after her, even after she had passed away. She sighed sadly and bit her lip, she would have to behave for now , and get to know him and the rest of the crew, a new home is better than no home..
Her ears twitched and she rushed to look up when feeling a new presences in the room. She noticed an old man, dressed as one of the crew. She guessed he was one of the butlers, or so it seems. As Uso introduced the man, naming him Markus She lowered her head once again while looking at him "Hello.." She said shortly. By the short sentence and his voice tone, she could figure easily this butler was with him for long time, and it seemed like he trusted him, Though for some reason, she didn't like the man, maybe it was his serious face, or the fact he seemed so... bossy.

Uso Ezio Theme Song Content that they had acknowledged each other Uso excused the elder man with a vague nod, waving him off before turning his attention back to the cat in his hold. Her emotions were, at least for the moment, obvious in her expression. Honestly.. It was almost a relief to realize such a creature still existed that could be so unguarded. What Lilian had been thinking was beyond him.. For good reason she had kept the pair of them from actually meeting simply because she knew he enjoyed a twisted sort of game with the 'innocents' that crossed his path. Uso was no gentleman, and certainly no saint.. And a promise was only good for the actual terms he'd used. Uso had promised to 'keep' and 'take care of' the girl.. He never promised to be a Master like Lilian herself had been.
Looking down at her repentant expression.. It tempted him to see that adorable blush again. Reaching up he placed his hand between her ears, ruffling the soft strands of her hair as he pet the girl.. and then with a casual movement his larger frame was leaning forward, the dark strands of his hair that had escaped their binding falling down over his shoulder as he closed his lips over the tip of the girl's left ear.. nipping it softly. It was a small punishment for being so hesitant towards the Butler, pain was certainly not the only method when training a pet.. and her reactions were bound to be more interesting this way.

As Uso waved his man off she looked over the man curiously, then back at Uso, who was still holding her shoulders to stable her. Her ears were still down as she peeked to her feet, wondering when she will be able to gain her power back. Even as a pet, she always knew how to take care of herself, but ever since Lilian took her in she didn't have to stay as guarded and independent anymore. She wasn't sure what was going to happen in this house, but once she learn where everything is, she will make sure to get things her way, the easy way, or the sneaky way. As innocent as she seen, the stubborn she was.
His sudden touch between her ears made her peek back up at him, while a soft purr escaped. Yes, grooming, she loved it. She closed her eyes slowly, and let her body enjoy this feeling once again. Her ears twitched as she felt his body getting closer to her. She opened her eyes slowly and looked at the man who was now really close to her. She didn't have enough time to calculate what was going on, before feeling the man's lips wrap around the tip of her ear "n..nyuuu..!" She moaned poorly and closed her eyes tightly. Her cheeks turned pink once again as she was moving her hands over the man's chest, trying to push him from her. Though her hands were powerless against him at the correct situation. As a Neko, one of her weaknesses were her ears and tail.

Uso Ezio Theme Song A brief smirk curved the cold line of his lips, something wicked flickering across his pale gaze before the man simply closed his eyes and stepped away; His hand falling down her back and, at the last moment, gently grasping her tail and letting the fluffy limb slip through his fingers as he allowed her to push him a small distance away. The pink was truly a flattering shade upon her cheeks.. He would enjoy keeping it there. " Next time, Kitten, be more polite towards the Butler. He is one of the few that will be able to help you."
Perhaps it was his tone.. or that absent-minded mirth that edged his predator's gaze.. But it was clear just why she may need help from the old man. The Butler was one of the few that Uso would not punish for hiding those servants that caught his attention.. Honestly it was like a game of hide and hunt, and the old man was the 'safe' zone. Gesturing for her to sit in a rather polite manner the action managed to seem all the more dangerous for its simple courtesy.. But not threatening. Uso had no reason to make her fear him; the only the she had to be afraid of was his sense of humor. " Now, you will sit and order something to eat.. Yes?" She was a stubborn thing, spoiled but not rotten by it.. It would be interesting to see how she would handle this new environment.(( Indeed, it seems he did.))

She opened her eyes slowly as she felt the man stepping back, though his hands did not leave her just yet. She peeked up into his eyes, but before she could notice any wave from him she felt his hand tracing over her tail "n..nyahh..!" She shook her head and closed her eyes again, this was too much, she knew he did it on propose. As he spoke her ears twitched, she could hear a slight warning in his voice, it was a punishment...
Her eyes slowly opened again as she peeked over his direction , slowly figuring out what he meant. He was not like Lilian.. he was wicked, in his own way, which would explain the reason Lilian did not want them to meet. She gulped soundly and bit her lip , slowly understanding what place she would be living in from now on.
As he asked her about ordering something to eat she rushed to node "y..yes..!" She said rapidly, not wanting to be teased again. She moved her tail close to her and lowered her ears slowly , showing obedient without words. She pressed the bottom he had showed her a while ago and spoke "i would like a fried fish, and a cup of milk... please" She said while peeking over Uso, trying to understand from his eyes what he was thinking.
