So, on my way home I got to thinking what the passive and active class pairs were, and I stumbled a bit onto a discovery.
Between the B1 and B2 trolls, some Class pairs seemed fixed. While I had thought that I had solved the puzzle, looking at Nepeta/Meulin and Sollux/Mituna broke my thesis. Still, I would like to share my thoughts on the matter and gain your input. I am gonna list the matching Class pairs I found below, and feel free to discuss the Classes as you wish.
Eridan Ampora - Prince of Hope / Cronus Ampora - Bard of Hope
This matches a similar pair:
Gamzee Makara - Bard of Rage / Kurloz Makara - Prince of Rage
Karkat Vantas - Knight of Blood / Kankri Vantas - Seer of Blood
This matches:
Terezi Pyrope - Seer of Mind / Latula Pyrope - Knight of Mind
And, while these don't quite match like the ones above, they have a sort of pattern.
Vriska Serket - Thief of Light / Aranea Serket - Sylph of Light
and
Meenah Peixes - Thief of Life / Feferi Peixes - Witch of Life
with
Aradia Megido - Maid of Time / Damara Megido - Witch of Time
and
Porrim Maryam - Maid of Space / Kanaya Maryam - Sylph of Space
While the Thief class doesn't relate much to the Maid class, the Witch and Sylph classes are a passive/active pair.
