Sama'el Quest and backstory
Sama'el was only eleven when he was sent out of the elven kingdom to become a ward of the human kingdom. His father died and his mother had run off with some other elf many years ago. His uncle had no desire to take him in. Instead he reached out to his friend in the human kingdom who was a guard to take him in. To train him in the art of fighting. Many days he traveled with his new guardian. Through the forests of Avaln and the plains of Elysona. It was when the moon was at it's peak when they approached the great city of Sespora. Given one day to gather information on his surroundings and explore the city. At first light he started his training. For many years he had the same routine. Spar, study, write, spar. Over and over in a endless cycle as he had yet to be old enough to join the guard proper.
It wasn't until he was fourteen when he had happened to have met the young lord Francis. A prince by birthright. Yet not the true son of the royal family. As the young Francis was the son of a consort and the king. Hence he is Lord Francis. The day that Lord Francis met him. He was searching for some guards to protect him. Spotting the young elf his immediate urge was to braid the elf's hair. Masking his interest in the others hair he instead explained it as a want of a guard his own age. Picking a few guards he had walked up to the elf and told him that he was to become part of his guard. Sama'el was taken aback by this as nobody before had been part of the guard at the age of fourteen. Then all hell broke loose as Francis started to throw a noble fit about that. He was bound and determined to get Sama'el as his guard come hell or high water. Reluctantly the captain initiated Sama'el into the royal guard and assigned him to be Lord Francis's bodyguard. This the start of their long friendship.
