Journal Entry 1: The key against the Titans has always been hope. For a century we had hoped that the Titans wouldn't get inside the wall. It's nights like these that remind me just what little hope I have. The one soul that had the most hope and determination I have ever seen, was none other than my son, Eren. I do regret leaving them behind. It's been about six weeks since I've left my family, in search of something more helpful to humanity. Lately I have been haunted by visions of my wife's smiling face. I fear the worst may have befallen my beloved. I can only hope that Eren and Mikasa are safe. God watch over them. God help us all
Journal Entry 2: It certainly has been awhile since I've written in my journal. Six months have already come to pass and I am now discovering that the original formula that was originally used on Eren, is gone! Frustration fills me with exasperated rage. Through out the months I have gathered the six perfect test subjects and now the only hope for humanity truly does rely solely on my son. I can not allow that burden upon him. As if helping on the sidelines of this great war, I want to help dwindle down the numbers, but with out that formula, all is lost... However, I do remember most of the details... perhaps in my carriage, I can make a new dosage with out the notes. I don't know how, but I have to try and formulate something! I'll give it my all and pray for a miracle. Wish me luck.
Journal Entry 3: After days upon days of working, I've finally gotten somewhere. EUREKA! Certainly a different reaction than remembered but the result is quite similar, if not the same. Success has blessed me tonight, however, the real risk lies in whether or not I should use this unknown dose on the boys. All six of them or just one?... No. I must be consistent with my studies and take that risk. After the boys have eaten and gone to bed.. it only takes one shot in each of them and the dosage should be set in place. I'm not sure what I should pray for more. The hope that this new, "note-free" formula should work, or their lives. I will pray for both.
Journal Entry 4: It has been two weeks now and though the formula is set in, not much has changed. I have discovered a few noticeable differences however. One of the boys has been foraging and eating much more edible plants than the others have. Although I've try to feed him protein and other subtenants, he refuses to eat meat now. But not the same can be said for the others. I feed them and yet they continue to claim that they are hungry. I've asked them what they want to eat and all respond with an uncertain answer. I am perplexed by this, but other than that, nothing out of the ordinary. They all still joke around and play with one another and they seem healthy. More observations are needed.
Journal Entry 5: Although it is late in the night and I really do need my rest, the images in my mind plague me. Today the most stupendous and horrendous thing fell upon my eyes. It seems to me that I have created something much more than just a chance for humanity. I must've created something I can yet barely describe. Our lives were almost ended today by a stray titan that had found us. I told the boys to get to the horse carriage and the only one that did as I said was the young vegetarian. The other boys just watched it. The one known as Daniel told the others to get back and suddenly there was an incredible burst of steam, that nearly singed my eyebrows off, and loud popping. After I had defogged my glasses, only awe could escape me. What I saw... Daniel. I'm unsure of whether I should feel grateful or afraid of the boy. But he took on that Titan. Although at the time I didn't know it was him. The form he took wasn't human. It was of some massive Scorpionic-Arthropod of some sort. Not only did the boy fend off the titan and spare my life, along with the others, but he was able to transform back by sheer will alone. Deadly and intelligent. But this was not the moment that truly astounded me. I fell when Daniel stung the small titan with his stinger and began devouring the being. When its neck snapped and it fell, the other boys were practically drooling over the fallen creature. It appears I have created a small army of boys that crave the flesh and blood of titans. The vegetarian was the only one sick to see his brethren devour the titan. I have yet to see a down side to this, but I should be cautious. I must let the King know soon... I have to wonder what the others can do. Humanity has the ability to fight back.
Journal Entry 6: It has come to my understanding that the boys each transform into the animal that they last come in contact with before I used the serum on them. Each are unique and over the years, their transformations have been marvelous to behold. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't proud. I can't wait to tell the boys the good news. Soon we shall travel to Wall Sina to give the great news to the King. The boys- well they're not really boys anymore, they are indeed men between the ages of 19-24. The others had designated the eldest as their leader. It touches my heart to see the boys so close, like they were actual brothers or something. They remind me of my own son and Armin and Mikasa. I miss them everyday.
Journal Entry 7: Those ungrateful little bastards! AFTER EVERYTHING! After everything I've given and done for them! And after everything we've been through! You'd think they would show a bit more gratitude. After four years of being their guardian... And then they do this!? I can't believe this! s**t!... Well, writing down my anger allows me to concentrate a little. But, to leave me with just a letter saying their crumpled bullshit thank yous. On the note, it read, "We will not fight for him" at the bottom. I told the eldest of the idea to fight for the King and I suppose this was their answer. I can't understand it. I never thought they would leave in the dead of night. I dare not look for them on my own, however. Titans could be crawling anywhere. I am closest to Wall Rose and if I take a mad dash in that direction, I could make it. But now what am I to do? All is lost. As I write this, although I'm furious with their decision, I pray that the boys are alright. I am unsure of what to do now... Journal, wish me anything... because honestly.. it's all I need as my hopes are now ,and forever, gone.

Characters:
Name: Daniel G. Maxwell Age: [21] Role: The Scorpion Human Appearance: Dan Maxwelle Colossus Appearance: The Scorpion Colossus Bio: Daniel was always quiet. He lived with his Mother, his older brother and his brother's wife. Most of the time, Daniel was seen as a pretty weird kid in his home town. Both his brother and his wife wished to join the army. Daniel never did though, but his mother was disappointed in him that he didn't want to do something for humanity on this war against Titans. Daniel really could care less. He was always pretty lazy. Daniel would always remember that the King essentially did nothing on his thrown, in Wall Sina, and how he lets thousands of men of women risk their lives to protect him and fight a losing battle. The wall wasn't going to last forever. One day, the 16 year old watched his brother and his wife go off to training. One year later, he and his mother got a letter that the two had graduated and were off to set their sights on becoming great fighters in the Recon Corp. The two had come back from the training camp and the lot celebrated their graduation at home. The next morning the two would leave with their troop to fight titans on outside the walls. When he hugged his brother, somehow he knew that was the last time he was going to see him, no matter how strong or confident his brother was.
After his mother and him received the word that both his brother and his wife were dead, it wasn't before long that his mother committed suicide. In her note, all she wrote was "A child should never die before their mother. I regret letting him go", and there her body was, hanging over that letter. Daniel had never cried so hard until that day. But the thing was... Daniel wasn't sad. He was more shocked at the sight of her dead corpse hanging there. It scared him. He was scared at that sight of it. And the more he looked around at the village he lived in, the more fear began to make him paranoid. What if I have to see the other villagers like this? Or worse! He thought. The wall wasn't going to last forever. He tried to handle living alone as long as he could in that village until paranoia forced him to leave. At the age of 17, he ran out of the safety and sanctity or Wall Maria and went to live on the outside of them. The next day, the wall was breached.
Daniel had managed to survive well for at least a good month and a half. He was exploring the world and seeing things he used to dream of back when he was stuck behind those walls. Life may have seemed like a terrifying risk, but for a time, it was worth it. Seeing things like waterfalls and gorgeous, mountainous sunsets made his heart sing. And then one night, as he was sleeping, he felt a sharp pain on his wrist. A scorpion had managed to crawl its way into that tent and stung him. Surprisingly, he wasn't mad at the Scorpion. He carefully picked it up by the stinger and tossed it outside. Not knowing what to do, he waited until morning to go search for help. But by then, he could barely move. The poison had spread quickly throughout his body, numbing his body from the waist down and he only managed to get as far as half of his torso out of that tent. He could barely keep his eyes open.
Perhaps not even 30 minutes later, he could here a horse carriage and a man trying to shake him awake. With an injection or some antidote, Daniel was saved. Daniel had this knack of being unaware of just how lucky he was, for Daniel was the first boy Dr. Yeager had found.
About Him: Daniel not an incredibly nice person. But he's not mean either. He's usually pretty quiet and does examine the rest things from an outside perspective. However, Daniel is incredibly passionate. Not so much sexually, he has no experience with anything like that, but Daniel does dream. He dreams of travel to magnificent far off places. He dreams about the beautiful world and wonders just what it has to offer him. Ever since Daniel gained these new abilities, however, he has become closer with the others. But he is still a little weird. Most of the time, he likes to look like he doesn't care, but when no one is looking, he'll do random acts of kindness for everyone. Wielder:[TenTenPrincess 23] Name: Yuri Frost Age: 20 Role: The Wolf Human Appearance: Yuri FrostColossus Appearance: Wolf TitanBio: Not all humans live behind walls. Some went the way of the animals since they were smarter than humans. When the danger was still on its way, all the animals moved away, they ran, as they're aught to do when nature tells them secrets. Yuri's family were one such group. Yuri came from a family of nomadic traders whom roamed the land before the Titans came. So, in a way, they were the first to know, really. And the very animals that his family followed were a pack of wolves. Since this was not uncommon for both sides, the pack and the human clan soon became 'one', so to speak. They split up responsibilities into hunters, peacekeepers, and watchers of the pregnant women and children. There were few disputes and the wolves were master navigators at evading the dumber Titans, sticking to mountains, elevated terrain, and downwind from most dangers. The few mad dashes only came about when they had to detour through remains of human civilizations. Casualties weren't had so long as everyone did their part. And when someone didn't...one or two deaths always happened. That's how Yuri's father died, from such foolishness. At some point, the pack had to take a risk and find a stronghold to guard until the she-wolves and women delivered. But with their numbers so low, it wasn't an easy task. But they survived and succeeded. Yuri along with a litter of pups were safely born. They stayed a while longer while the women recuperated and regained their strength before moving on again. Thankfully, the number born made up for those whom were lost. And some years later, the pack found a natural barrier within a mountain. The cave entrance was small, too small for Titans to squeeze through. Other animals were here too. It seems, this was the ultimate destination for nature's children. About Him: Yuri acts more wolf than human, choosing body language at times. He's also more for physical contact as well, clinging to those he likes and distancing himself from those he doesn't. In any set group, though, he held a flexible role. Growing up with wolves taught him balance and self-sacrifice. He fulfilled any role as was necessary of him. If he needed to support someone, he knew how to stand back and do so. If he needed to be the head of a hunt or search party, he could handle the responsibility. He was asked to give support to a group of youngsters on their first hunt. Normally, one of the elders were chosen, but he had enough experience to fill in. They were to take down a single deer, but the appointed leader was...ambitious. He didn't agree with Yuri and lead the team into the forbidden caves. They wanted to hunt one of the 'giant humans' that Yuri and those before him had to deal with. He tried to stop him, but he couldn't overcome the lack of respect the kids had for him. And right when he threatened to beat submission into them all and take over as leader, that's when he saw it... A giant eye peering in at them from an outside entrance. He had no idea that they had gotten this far. One of the youngsters got grabbed and Yuri did the first thing that came to mind, and ran forward to save him. When he stepped forward though, another of the the youngsters, a wolf pup, bit his leg, trying to keep him from going. Unlike their human counterparts, the two of them could sense the grimness of their situation, but Yuri's mind had already been made up and he went anyway. He leapt upon the Titan's body and started stabbing at it's body with his blade...but it couldn't even pierce the skin. He ended up having to watch, in horror, as the boy was devoured. The others had run off, so it was just him, and he could no longer afford a retreat. If he did so now...their peaceful life would be compromised. That's when he realized that the Titan was only using one of its hands. The cliff was too steep to do so otherwise. So he did something riskier. He quickly clambered towards the monster's face and stabbed both of its eyes. A simple enough maneuver that worked, making the Titan clutch its face with both hands. But Yuri wasn't able to escape. He never intended to. As such, they both plummeted down the side of the mountain. Some time later, Yuri awoke to find the Titan, surprisingly, dead. Its neck had been pierced by a tree during their fall. And now its steaming, bloody remains littered the ground around him. But it wasn't as if he was completely unharmed. The impact had been so great that his left arm and right leg was broken. Even though the steam kept him alive and warm...he wasn't going to survive much longer. He would...probably be eaten by one of these things just as his father had. He was going to die, alone. No sooner had he thought that, he heard the sounds of movement and thought his time was up. But instead, it was Dr. Jaeger, coming to investigate the rare sight of a falling Titan. The man patched him up and got him moving again. While resting, he sensed the doctor entering his tent, but as he sensed no hostility, just nervousness, he didn't stir. He felt a p***k in his arms, but didn't inspect it until after the doctor left. There was a red spot on his arm...but no real harm. He left it alone, thinking nothing of it. Seke. Wielder: ShadowEternal Name: Bael Smith Age: 23 Role: The Dragon Human Appearance: Bael Colossus Appearance: The Glorious Wyrm *Can breath hot blasts of searing steam
Bio: Bael can't remember a time he wasn't an orphan. He was born within the walls of the city, and grew up mostly within an orphanage. Many of his number chose the life of a soldier, but Bael never cared for that sort of life. Too much work. No, what enticed Bael to eventually leave the city with a small group of other was talk of an old abandoned mine far from the city's walls. Not everyone believed the walls would hold forever, and some were simply fed up with the way those who rode out into the world to 'fight' the titans seemed to serve as little more than brave snacks for the monsters.
Bael was young when the small, optimistic group arrived at the old mines. He soon grew to enjoy the dark and sunless life below ground. The enclosed space, and sturdy tunnels. The small space hardly bothered him; he hadn't gotten much to eat while growing, and was very short anyway. But of course … it couldn't last. The blond was roughly nineteen years old (though he looked younger than that due to his small size) when Titans finally sniffed out the humans living below ground. At first, it was just one small Titan by the main entrance. But slowly and surely the numbers grew … they blocked one exit after another … and soon, there was no way out. The small group had water thanks to an underground river, but food … Slowly and surely, things grew tense and desperate underground.
Using old rusted tools, they tried digging their way out, but none of they lacked the proper support beams and other supplies to make sturdy tunnels that wouldn't collapse in on them. Half their number were lost just in the futile digging. But Bael did not give up; when the rest were proposing just trying to rush out at night when Titans were least active, he grabbed a pick and spade, and went back to it. He decided if he was going to go, it wouldn't be down the throat of a Titan. Just the thought of those massive teeth and empty eyes gnashing at the main entrance of the mine made his insides go cold and knees weak.
No, Bael got to digging his way out. And after what seemed to be an eternity of blindly shifting earth and narrowly avoiding getting crushed by earth, having brought one support beam with him, Bael emerged half-smothered from lack of air and nothing more than skin and bones. Gasping for breath and alone, Bael stumbled his away as fast as he could away from where he'd come up, looking for shelter and food. The first thing he finds is a snake, with a dead magpie half swallowed in it's unhinged mouth. Beal takes the spade he'd dragged with him and cut the serpent in two, grabbing both wriggling half-alive halves a moment before standing there; realizing he had no means to make a fire or cook this meat he'd found. He sat there, staring at the food he could not eat, half-willing to just start chewing the raw meat mix of half-living scales and feathers then and there.
It was here that the doctor found him while passing by in his carriage, and took Bael in.
About Him: Bael is quite slothful. He enjoys nothing more than to have the luxury to just lay around digesting a freshly eaten meal. He does not care to work for anything if he can help it, and can most often be seen lounging in a warm place. If Bael acts, it's either because he has to or because he's just following along with the rest of the guys. Or because he's seen something shiny he wants; it seems that he's acquired traits from both the snake and magpie he touched both had added their own mix to his being. For better, or for worse. Bael is also quite full of himself sometimes, and his pride more than makes up for his shorter-than-average size. Plus, of course, the blond is convinced he is the sexiest beast to walk the earth. So he's kinda a shameless flirt sometimes. [Seke] Wielder: knux33
Name: Bernard Galbraith Age: 25 Role: The Lion Human Appearance: BernardColossus Appearance: Dyaus PitaBio: Bernard was never a regular guy. Even with the threat of Titans looming over humanity, he took pleasure in it. After all, humans show the greatest ability when their survival was being threaten. And for Bernard, the threat was never the Titans. The Titans are unusual, yes, but to him, they are no more than over-grown babies. They were always wanting, never fulfilled, and left a mess wherever they went. You can't really get mad at babies. People were a different matter. They were supposed to be resourceful, humans willing to do anything to survive. The farmers, the common folk, and the soldiers that guard them all dream of joining one of the three corps. in order to help, or to escape. But worst of all are those who don't have to, in other words, the highest of all nobles, the royal family. He never liked it, having to lay his life down on the line just to save some b*st*rd who wasn't even trying to save his people, only extending his own survival. It was selfish and pissed him off more than anything. But as the first-born son of a noble family himself...he had to bite his tongue and bide his anger. The only thing that made him feel better was hunting. When the Titans first appeared, guns were the first to go due to their inability. But Bernard still found a use for his great-grandfather's sniper rifle. After polishing it up and taking good care of it, he could take out any mark. He practiced stealth over and over so that he could sneak around outside the walls and hunt down animals without alerting any Titans. Take a sot in one place, then quickly move. Even if he missed, he needed to move lest he risk discovery. In doing so, he caught various wild game which he gave away to the poor and common folk whom work so hard to live while the ungrateful King just sat, safe, on his throne. One day, though, he came home to learn that he was beyond the average age of those enlisting for training to be assigned to one of the corps. He was pissed, he didn't want to to end up on the wall, nor guarding the actual King. He didn't want to fight Titans either because it was pointless. But he had no say on it. So, he went through training and ended up in the top 10 ranking in using the maneuverability gear and lost-distance attacks. Up-close and personal wasn't his style, so he had to adjust. With training over, he had to make a choice, which he was able to do considering his rank. They had 24 hours to choose, so he temporarily let to enjoy the last time he'd be free. He took up his gun and went out through the wall one last time. Only this time, he was hunting the largest of game: lions. One of the planet's most majesty beasts and he would use it to say goodbye to his anger before submitting to hopelessness. But just as he was taking aim on a pride he finally tracked down, but didn't realize he was being hunted himself. So used he had become to hiding from Titans, he neglected hiding from other beasts. He had laid down to hide in a lion alpha's resting spot. It bit him in his leg to encourage him to move. It wasn't enough to kill him because it was during the hottest hour of the day, in which lions rarely hunt. Hunt ruined, he decided to leave until the ground shook. The pride got up and ran as a titan came onto the scene. He tried to run, but with his leg injury, he wasn't going to make it far. He was caught, along with the alpha lion that bit him before. As the Titan opened its mouth to devour them, he make a final chance to free himself. He aim the gun at the Titan's neck, hoping the proximity would let the body go straight through and hit the vulnerable part of the spine. But right as he finally lined up the shot, the Titan chomped down, biting off one of his arms. Thankfully, his muscle reflexes kicked in and made the shot. And somehow, the even closer proximity blew out its neck, knocking it down. He had survived, but with his weakened leg, he wasn't going to make it back. The Titan's body disintegrated and he recovered the gun. At least he was die with the one comfort in his life. That's when Dr. Yeager appeared and saved him. Got his leg on the path to recovery and even patched up his stump of an arm. It wasn't perfect, but hey, now he was free from from having to serve that cowardly a**hole. He taught himself how to shoot his gun single-handedly. He became able to procure meat for the group and keep everyone unified thanks to his training and upbringing as a noble. Before he knew it, he was the leader and was often sought to for guidance. One day, he woke up to find his missing arm had re-grown. A shock that was later explained when he watched Daniel transformed into a beast and devoured a Titan. So, they were all monsters now, but he could deal with that. It just meant that they could actually survive out here now. Finally, humanity had a way out other than being fodder for that ungrateful King. That is, until the good doctor told them why they existed. Bernard felt betrayed and quickly wanted out. But he didn't want to leave the others behind. They had power, they could save humanity and those who deserved to live. That King probably didn't even wipe his own a**. He didn't deserve their strength. So, after telling them the deal, he lead them away, taking his trusty gun and a few provisions. About Him: A natural leader who is willing to take charge when everyone else is afraid to jump. He likes his sniper gun, hunting, and being outside. They let him revel in the act of survival, or pushing himself to his limits to keep himself and those around him alive. He absolutely despises the King and those blindly throw their lives away just to protect a guy who isn't even thinking about getting rid of the problem so much as out-living everyone else. Seme Wielder: ShadowEternal
Name:Kalvin Cade Age: [22] Role: The Bat Human Appearance:Kalvin Colossus Appearance: The Bat Colossus Bio: Kalvin grew up as a bully. The typical bully that just wanted attention and to feel that dominating moment when he belittles any one who looked uglier or had some defect, was exhilarating. Kalvin was seen as a punk who just loved attention and would do anything to get it. He had family problems between his mom and dad. There was no abuse, just arrogance and annoying arguments that generally lead no where. So because his family wouldn't pay attention to him, he'd get the attention of others.
One day, he was called out by someone who he beat up that day. The victim's mother and father came to his home and demanded that Kalvin apologize to their son. Shocked by the news that Kalvin had been doing such things, they forced him to apologize to the boy. Angry and aggravated that he had to stoop so low, he decided to get back at his parents and run away from home, whether they cared or not. So, when soldiers had to leave the gates. Kalvin pulled the dumb stunt and hid inside their supplies carriage and stowed away with them.
But then the team was annihilated by the Titans. The carriage was thrown into a ditch that had an under ground cave, which Kalvin fell into and surprisingly lived. Crying and lost, Kalvin managed to find his way out of the smelly and wet cave. There was a stench that had caused him throw up whatever what in his stomach. Although Kalvin acted like such a big bad bully back home, when he was scared, he acted like such a coward.
On his way out, he was stopped by the sight of a terrifying titan smiling right back at him. A quiet and breath stopping pause fell over them. And then the Titan the moved. Kalvin was captured in the Titan's grip and as he struggled, an overwhelming pressure made him squirm the monster's grip and he screamed the highest pitched scream that could be fathomed by a 16-17 year old boy. The cave echoed his scream and more and more screeches seemed to echo back out of the cave. Suddenly, thousands upon thousands of bats flew out of the cave and disoriented the giant titan as it dropped the boy. Flailing to the bottom, he didn't realize that he actually managed to grab a hold of one bat and dragged it to the ground with him. Falling through trees and branches, it was surprising that the boy wasn't dead.
Looking around, he was all alone until his glanced into his hand and saw the fidgeting little rodent. Disgusted at the sight of it, he cursed at the little bat and just as he was about to toss it, it scratched his hand and flapped away. Truly alone again and with a broken foot, he was crying and limping to hide and await for his demise. A few days later, Dr. Yaeger and five other boys came across Kalvin and the Doctor nursed him back to health.
Living with the boys, he tried to bully the boys who were shorter than him. But surprisingly, none of them would have it! They taught him self-discipline, and humility. Each time he'd get out of line, the boys would let him have it until he learned his lesson. But they never abandoned him.
The day Daniel transformed, he was disgusted at the sight of it but was suddenly starving for that flesh of that titan. But instead of eating the flesh, although he could, he could feel fangs grow and his throat dry and something came over him to start drinking the blood of fallen monster. When Kalvin transformed, he was appalled at the sight of himself, thinking he looked hideous. And then on the night they were to leave, Cade was surprised that the group didn't want to fight for the King. The fame, the glory that they could receive! Why didn't they want that? Kalvin just couldn't understand it, but he dare not be alone again. So he stayed with the boys and enjoyed their company, quickly claiming them, as his closest friends. About Him: Kalvin mostly just likes to talk a lot s**t. He likes to think he's better and braver than he actually is. He mostly gets in to silly little arguments with Bael because he too thinks he's the hottest thing there. He's generally the comic relief. But, for some odd reason he's very intuitive and can sometimes feel the things his friends are feeling. But for most of the time, he tried to get on everyone's nerves just to get a reaction, he's also pretty clingy and likes to mess around. He's not a bully anymore, but he still loves his attention! Seke Wielder:TenTenPrincess23
Name: Richard 'Richy' Hamish Age: 20 Role: Horse Human Appearance: RichyColossus Appearance: Hellish StallionBio: Richy lived a happy life within the wall with his parents that didn't have much happening to take note of. He grew to be a quiet stablehand working and training horses, though it near broke his heart when so many mounts were so often lost on excursions outside of the wall. But Richy put up with it, because it wasn't his place to say anything; he was just a boy after all. It was one day when a few frightened geldings were seen spotted roaming the hills near the city that Richy and a few older hands went out to get them. Unfortunately, things went horribly wrong shortly before they managed to rope up the panicked animals. Richy barely managed to get his horse running when the Titans appeared almost out of nowhere, his mount fleeing blindly: a young animal not yet fully trained, much like Richy himself. The boy and horse escaped out into the wilderness, but did not last long on their own. With no survival skills to speak of, Richy was pretty much doomed the moment his horse spooked and took him off into the wilds with Titans at their back. And when the gelding tripped and had a bad fall, Richy was tossed from his seat while the animal ran on. He wandered a while on his own, hungry and near-clueless … until he was found by the doctor. As events unfolded and Richy found himself liking the others around him … if a bit horrified by what they had become. Richy was likely the only one who wanted to answer the King's call, if only to help those in the city, and perhaps find his family there as well, if they were still alive after the fall of the outer wall. But his need to be with the group out weight his disagreements with their way of just up and going out on their own. Despite their powers, Richy was the most insecure, and felt for sure they couldn't survive forever on their own. He hoped, at least, to help any humans they came across … and at most, to eventually convince the others to head back to the city and serve the King, so they could in turn help all who lived within the city. About Him: Possibly the least assertive out of the entire group. Most likely to follow orders, and one of the youngest males in the group, Richy sometimes feels a bit out of place with the others. Mostly when the others are eating, and especially when the others are eating Titans. He's particularly leery of Bael. He likes flowers, running, and horses. He greatly dislikes watching the others eat meat or Titans, along with disliking thunder, fire, and loud noises as he's a bit flighty.[Uke] Wielder:[Knux33]

 ■ ■ ■ ■Kalvin Cade■ ■ ■ ■ The boys had only just left the care of comfort that was known as Dr. Yeagar a week ago. None of them new precisely Night was drawing near and the boys were still in the forest's denseness. Despite them not having seen any Titans, the boys faced dehydration and hypothermia. With out water, the boys would die in just a matter of days. And in this dense jungle of shady trees, very little sun passed the canopy. Although they seemed to be monsters now, they were still vulnerable to human threats... well most except for the Titans of course.
Lucky for them that Bernard was there leader. He had manage to find out how these massively dense trees achieved their source of water and so now the boys were heading in the direction the roots were growing. Other animals were seen near by. Some were cautious and others were curious and walked right up to them. And when I mean 'them' I mostly mean Richard because he gave off the softest aura to them. Bird calls could be heard all around them and then even other noises, such as coyote howls, as the sun light continued to dim more and more.
Kalvin was walking beside Bael as the group continued to follow Bernard and Yuri. Richard, being the youngest, was in the middle amongst them all and the silent "creep", known as Daniel, was behind the lot. That was formation Bernard had asked them to take. Although Kalvin didn't really like obeying Bernard's order, he couldn't help but follow and discover that most of what he would ask made sense.
There was one thing Kalvin didn't agree with their "fearless leader". Why were they running? Or where were they going? Just to live in the wild? It just seemed so stupid to Kalvin. They should have taken up Dr. Yeager's offer and gone to fight for the King. Think about it! They would have a magnificent life! Wealth, riches, anything they'd wanted! They'd be famous! He just didn't understand what the others were so afraid of. Not to mention humanity could thrive with the six of them fighting for them... Well the five of them. Richy wasn't much of a fighter and he'd probably just get in the way. The more Kalvin thought about everything, the more restless he started to become.
The group was quiet for awhile. Too quiet. Kalvin couldn't stand that. Too much silence was boring and choking. So, unfortunately, the silence left plenty of opportunity for Kalvin to get antsy and start something. So he did. Casually yawning and stretching down to the ground Kalvin started picking up a few moss covered leaves and pine cones. The smell of musty earth and pine rose up the Bat's nose and stuffed the little rocks and pine cones into his pocket. Holding an acorn in his hand, he giggled as he flicked it at Bael's head. When Bael would look around and see Kalvin, Cade would give a guiltless look of confusion and shrug his shoulders. Snickering at the game, Kalvin would continue this until Bael caught him in the act.
Kalvin likes to talk a lot of sh*t! Cade just wants all the attention! The BAT wants the blood of Titans...

{I'll say this once. Be careful about 'taking command' over our characters. Since this is the first post, the 'mood-setter', it's a pass.} Bernard Galbraith "To fight to protect others is always honorable."
Bernard didn't actually have an idea where to go. That is, he had a destination goal in mind, but beyond that, he knew nothing. He had been raised to think that those within the walls were the last survivors of humanity. He now knew that to be false due to Yuri's existence. The younger male was loyal to those he owed a debt to, and submissive when the time called for it. And yet, despite that, he couldn't get the other to reveal the location where his people lived. Yet, despite that, the other still stood at his side, helping lead the team. That's what lead him to make a decision to find one of the old fortresses.
After they all awakened to their titan forms, Dr. Yeager told them about the efforts of the Recon Corps and the fall of one of the favored fortresses that head been over-run by titans. All he needed to do was get them there. Once there, they could simply eat the titans on sight and fill their bellies. Since it was a danger zone, chance of the Corps coming back was very unlikely.
He blinked, glancing back as he noticed how quite the group was, but he had no intention of stopping unless one of them, probably Richard, got tired.
"To make others fight so you don't have to is despicable." Yuri Frost "...who is the real enemy here?" Yuri silently walked alongside Bernard. His cruel-looking eyes kept an eye on their surroundings. Out of most of them, his background gave him an advantage out here. He was used to aiding large groups. He just wasn't very good at leading those that didn't want to follow. At least he was still here, Titan or no, he was alive. It also came with a few benefits. He senses were heightened, his natural skills were augmented, and he could smell other Titans from miles away. Though, there weren't any in their vicinity. Probably not for long though. He also took notice of the awkward atmosphere in the ground. Aside from what Bernard told them, he basically forced all of them to leave the doctor's side. Was working for a King that bad? Those in the Wilds had quickly isolated their selves in order to avoid the coming of the Titans. But now he found it ironic that the place he was born in was later used by the anti-Titan Recon Corps had used it as a safe zone. And when they find it, it would be their new safe zone. Yuri also took notice when Kalvin got quiet. He looked Bernard's way and got a nod of confirmation before falling back to the Bat's side. He brushed is arm against the other's arm to get his attention. "I can't smell anything. Just in case...get an aerial view on our position and the fortress." "I'll devour any who defiles this beautiful world."

Bael Smith The darkening light put Bael in bad spirits as they all moved along through the woods. Yet another day without any sight of any decent shelter, despite Bernard's and Yuri's assurances that there was, in fact, an abandoned fortress this-a-way. The short male stuffed his hands into his pockets but kept his urge to let out a moody groan stuffed down. He'd voiced his complaints earlier that very same day and figured wasting breath on asking again would be too much damn work. They'd get there when they got there. And hell, at least there were Titans to eat, if not much time to cook real human food all that often.
Feeling something hit his head Bael turned sharply, narrowing his eyes to glare at Kalvin, having noticed the other's giggle in the silence and knowing it was the bat messing around, dispite a clueless look that tried to say otherwise. No, no. The damn bat was always looking for trouble with him; probably because Kalvin knew Bael was better looking (or so the blond figured). Really, Bael thought before looking forward again, one of these days I should just give him a good right hook. Lucky for Bael, before a second projectile could be thrown, Yuri hung back and told Kalvin to do something useful for a change. The blond looked over his shoulder to grin smugly at the ginger, clearly glad at the instant karma before looking to Bernard again.
"Hey, fearless leader! Once we get the place all fixed up and less Titan-infested, what are we going to do after that?" Pleeeease let the answer be something akin to 'nothing' but eating and sleeping, Bael thought hopefully to himself. I'm just about have enough walking, traveling, and all that nonsense.
Richard 'Richy' Hamish Richy frowned to himself, keeping close to the middle of the group because getting beset on my birds and rabbits and every single animal in these woods was more than a little tiring ... and because he was the only person in this small group that didn't particularly like the thought of fighting. No, flight instead of fight was his choice ... and most of the others saw him as weak because of it. He wasn't stupid; Richy could tell the others were more protective of him because he was the youngest (even though he was a good inch taller than Bael; a fact the blond seemed to hold against him sometimes). But he was still more than old enough to take care of himself! Rich y thought with a small pout, kicking at a pinecone.
All this walking hadn't done much to really keep him happy and chipper, especially since he didn't really agree with leaving the doctor in the first place. The man had taken good care of all of them, and now they were running out on him and the human race. The young brown haired male sighed to himself before pushing himself to keep up with the others. Richy wasn't new to hard work but traveling for a straight week without stopping for much besides sleep of breaks was really draining on his stamina ... though the others hardly seemed to mind as much as he did. Sure, they all looked tired, but Richy couldn't help but notice when he started lagging a bit, usually Bernard noted it and called them all to a stop.
Gritting his teeth, Richard was doggedly determined to keep going--when he turned to see Yuri talking to Kalvin ... a glance which caused Richy to not noticed the slight change in the ground's incline, causing him to trip up and nearly fall flat on his face. Luckily for the youngest traveler, he fell on his hands instead of his face. Unluckily for him, one of his hands happened to hit a rock. With a wince Richard sat back and held the hurting hand close; but on further inspection, the skin wasn't broken and his hand looked fine. It had just been a hard and father painful impact.
"I'm okay," Richy said, moving to pick himself back up and ignoring a snicker he heard from Bael's direction; or was it Kalvin? Probably both of them, Richy sighed.

  ■ ■ ■ ■Kalvin Cade■ ■ ■ ■ Kalvin was continuously holding back his laughter as each time he through something at Bael, Bael would sharply turn and glare at him. It was a funny picker upper in this dark setting. However, the moment was quickly lost when Yuri fell back. Oh Kalvin could care less about this guy too! He didn't know what it was, but just.. something about that mean expression on his face just always put a sour taste Kalvin's mouth. But he remembered the first time he teased Yuri, he regretted it. Deeply. So now he wouldn't dare threaten Yuri or Bernard.. ever.
"I can't smell anything. Just in case...get an aerial view on our position and the fortress."
However, just because he didn't like to mess with Yuri, didn't mean he liked taking orders from him. Who does he think he is? Ordering me around like this! Man, would I like to show him~! he thought. A frown was very prominent over Kalvin's face. And seeing Bael's teasing face didn't help either. "Tch. Why do I have to do it?! I'm not the only one who can fly ya know. Make the shrimp fly up there! He'd probably be able to get up through canopy easier because he's so small" he spoke out loud, making sure Bael and the others could hear. They were all getting cranky and tired, so why should Kalvin exert himself anymore than the others?! Really though, he was just trying to stir stuff up as he crossed his arms. That and Yuri didn't say please. Small pebbles and pine-cones and other miscellaneous things fell out of Kalvin's pockets, revealing that it truly was Kalvin who was messing with the small dragon. Surely Bael must've been getting riled up with all of his smack and back talk. -- ■■■Danielle Grey Maxwelle■■■ The quietest one in the bunch was indeed Daniel. He was also still thinking about the decision the lot had made. But despite Bernard's guidance, which Daniel didn't mind 'cause he was a good leader, he couldn't help feel a bit responsible for the decision made. He remembered the moment:
The Doctor had pulled Bernard aside from the others and told him the news. What the Doctor didn't know was that Daniel was hiding behind a tree and heard the whole deal before Bernard went to tell the others. Daniel revealed himself to Bernard when the Doctor went back inside his carriage. With crossed arms and a betrayed feeling, he didn't know just how Bernard felt about the whole situation but the escaped his lips with out him knowing. "I'm not fighting for that man..." Daniel stated. That was all he said. If the others wanted to fight for the king, then so be it. But Daniel wasn't about to go back and possibly sharing a fate worse than his dead brother's.
Daniel felt tired too, now, as the lot walked through the dense forest. Darkness began setting in as Kalvin refused the request from Yuri. Daniel was snapped back as Richy tripped over. Daniel knew that they had to rest soon. But the darkness wasn't helping them any. Other animals that usually slept during the day were beginning to come out and frolic about now. Wanting to get Richard and the others somewhere safe quickly, he felt it time to speak up. "Kalvin." He called out, getting the bat's attention. "What!?" he shouted until he realized that it was Daniel who had called out to him. Daniel looked him directly in the eyes and didn't falter. "Please..." he begged in soothing tone. Kalvin almost grimaced and bit his lip as he flipped his face away, hiding his annoyed cheeks. "Tch..!-..Gahh~ Geez-, Alright fine... ya don't have to beg..." he growled and slipped his satchel off and stepped away from the group, eventually "poofing" into the giant bat creature he was. Great gusts of wind could be felt as Kalvin flapped his wings to fly above the group. For some odd reason, Kalvin never approached Daniel, and rarely did he back sass him.... odd really, since Daniel didn't talk much to begin with. It may have seemed like respect, but truthfully, Kalvin feared Daniel the most out of all of them.
Kalvin likes to talk a lot of sh*t! Daniel likes to Dream..

{You don't have to quote us each time either. Unless, you're doing that for an achievement...} Bernard Galbraith the Lion "To fight to protect others is always honorable."
Bernard could sense the unrest in the group. Having to leave so suddenly and on such a rigorous pace was making everyone tense. Not to mention, he was aware that there were those that didn't support his view on things. Maybe, eventually, he'd explain his case. But now wasn't the time as shelter and food was a priority.
Thankfully, he had Yuri. As a noble, he wasn't any good with...emotionally tense situations. It was one of his many flaws as a human and why he wasn't too mad about being transformed into a titan.
"To make others fight so you don't have to is despicable." Yuri Frost the Wolf "...who is the real enemy here?" Yuri knew that Kalvin wasn't in the mood to follow his orders. He was used to it. But he thought the reason why he chose him was obvious. Bael may be able to fly as well, but Kalvin was better in the dark. In the end, he didn't need to speak more than necessary as Danielle spoke up...somewhat. Now he watched as Kalvin took to the sky. They had been traveling for some time now, a week at least. The fortress had to be nearby. There was no way a trek of new mother's and newly born infants could have made it any further in numbers larger than their own. He got an thought, then, and stepped to the front, back at Bernard's side. "I suggest we, after 'renovations' are complete, let everyone rest and tend to their selves. Any more time together like this and we'll start biting each other's head off..." "I'll devour any who defiles this beautiful world."
