A clearing deep in the Konohagakure forest. There's a large tree growing in the middle of it, and it's hollowed out. Kenji stores many things inside the tree for his own purposes, as well as lives there. A small stream also runs through the clearing, and it's good for fishing in.

Kenji stirred in his sleep, a beam of sunlight filtering down upon his face and making it hot and uncomfortable. Straining his eyes upon opening them, he immediately regretted it, becoming momentarily blind and shutting them immediately. Grumbling and groaning, the Uchiha turned over and fell from the tree, landing on his feet upon the soft grass below. He wore nothing but a t-shirt and a pair of boxers, and these were quickly discarded as, while eyes still closed, he walked over to the stream and washed himself using a bar of soap concealed conspicuously as a rock near it. He soaked in the cold water of the stream for a moment after getting clean, acclimating to waking up before finally opening his eyes and sighing. 'Another day of training while I wait for the next Exams...' thought Kenji grumpily, standing and leaving the stream to dry himself. 'They could NOT take any longer...' He shook his head in despair before walking over to the large tree that lay in the center of the clearing, hollowed out to serve as a makeshift cupboard for all of Kenji's possessions. He grabbed a towel and his clothes, a simple mesh shinobi top, a black t-shirt over that, and then his long black fluffy cloak with the Uchiha Clan Symbol on the back. The rest of the outfit composed of black boxers and then black shinobi pants, the material light and breathable yet durable enough to take a fall or an extensive running session. Dressed now, Kenji took his small pouch that he kept his Ryō in and tsk'ed. "Damn..." he said in defeat at the sight of the pitiful amount of coins that fell to his palm after overturning the pouch. "Looks like no breakfast today..." He had planned to take his teammate Aya to breakfast before training, but that plan was now scrapped. 'Guess I'm going hungry...' thought Kenji, grimacing and cursing his bad luck. He took the pouch and placed the coins back inside, where they fell with a jingle before tying it to his pants, in-between his Kunai holster and Shuriken holster, which were clipped on previously. Lastly, he put on his backpack, threading his arms through the straps before sighing, and headed off towards where he knew Aya lived.
