About
Being the daughter of the village librarian and baker meant that Tina spent her youth either helping her mother at the library - where she was was able to get an early start on her passion for reading and studying - or helping her father - learning to bake the fluffiest loaf of bread - all while also growing comfortable interacting with strangers. When Tina decided to take her late mother's job she was already well loved within the village, known as a quiet and somewhat unassuming girl who was sweet and charming. She is able to make her way around without really being noticed, and frequently finds herself accidentally listening in on private conversations.
She is far more sharp and alert than she lets on; her appearance and demeanor help to hide the fact that she's a competant fighter - her weapon of choice being a martial arts pole and throwing knives that she keeps strapped to her thigh. What she lacks in physical strength she makes up for with her agility, reflexes, and general knowledge of weak spots. She doesn't like to drag things out longer than necessary and will utilise any means to end a fight as quickly as possible, while remaining calm and calculating.

Tina's mother worked at the town bakery, and during her youth she spent much of her time helping her mother out at the shop, either on the store front or learning to bake the best bread. Her father was a wood cutter and was a very warm and loving man who doted on his family more than anything in the world. He taught Tina how to fight and defend herself, focusing on non-lethal incapacitation, skills she would come to make good use of later. When Tina was around 10 he began to travel and would be away for days, sometimes weeks at a time. He seemed to be searching for something but would never talk about it, nor his reasons for searching.
Tina was 15 the last time she saw her father. She never did find out what he was looking for, and now she doubted she ever would.
It was at this time that Tina started to visit the town's library, immersing herself in books and study and knowledge. Perhaps that made the grieving process easier.
Her mother died not long after Tina's 17th birthday, leaving her alone. For a time, at least. Still, it wasn't a difficult adjustment to make, her mother had become steadily worse since her father left leaving her to care for the two of them. She even got a job at the library to support them both. Many in town whispered of how she probably died of a broken heart. Tina wouldn't disagree.
