xxTheme Song: xxxPersonality Mary can be really eccentric. This generally comes from her longing to be like with her family, and trying to claim some form of superiority over these simple country bumpkins that dare try and bring her down to their level. She takes pride in her knowledge of things that the South doesn't have but the North does. Mary doesn't quite know when to stop metaphorically or literally prodding a sore topic, and very frequently takes extreme verbal or physical action to make her stop.
Of course, behind that high and mighty facade, is her extremely complex and fragile demeanor. She starts yelling at the slightest thing to cover up how scared she is of it. Mary firmly refuses to believe that anything could possibly change her. She loves to make herself feel confident in the fact that she can't possibly get any better than she is. She begins to break down, sometimes. Of course, she will firmly deny that anything ever happened later, but she does (very infrequently) display her vulnerable side.
xxxBiography Marielle was born in the rainy city of Seattle. She was the eldest of three children. Her younger sisters, Lily and Anni, were both under Mary's guidance. Their mother couldn't always be there for them, as she had to work double shifts at the offices where she worked as a secretary to keep them in a middle-class life. As a consequence, Mary had to learn how to take care of her younger siblings early on. This left her rather sullen around most, prone to random outbursts of hatred.
Lily was the average Jane of the bunch, but she fit in the best, and after a while, Mary found that Lily was sometimes protecting Mary from rude comments with her friend's connections. However, Anni was brilliant, and was the outcast of her bunch. Mary became her ferocious protector, lashing out at anyone who so much as laid a finger on her little sister. Mary would often come home toting Anni, and would have to wash the blood off of her fists before cleaning up her sister.
As the years passed by, Mary began to become more intolerant. Not just to the people who disliked the Greyst household, but to the illnesses that were common at public schools. She became extremely ill with even the slightest sickness, and with the household's minimal wages, this was extremely hard to deal with. After a very tearful goodbye with Ms Greyst, Anni, and Lily, Mary went off to the countryside, to stay with her cousin, Nini, and her husband.
There, Mary kept in contact with her friends from Seattle and her family over the Internet. After a while, she branched out, going to different chatting websites. She met lots of people, and learned about the wonderous world of video games. Her health had improved slightly while in the country forests, but it wasn't enough to actually visit any of those friends. However, when the beta for Sburb was released, Mary hopped on board for a session with her friends. Her hopes for a normal session were shot to hell. xxxStrife xxStrife Specibus: shotgunkind

--- xxxPersonality Corren is a very kind person. She enjoys flowers, bright patterns, small animals, and fuzzy things. This would make her seem like the perfect picture of healthy girlishness. She doesn't judge quickly, and is patient with others. She can't quite understand some people who are really serious. She isn't an absolute wackadoo, but can't imagine being really serious. She's excellent at keeping her facial features still as to not betray any negative emotions, and has been called almost robotic around certain people for this. Try to hurt one of her loved ones, and she will snap soooo quickly.
And then there's Corren. The Corren that people c**k their eyebrows at when they see her house is completely covered in flowers. Trellices of wallflowers and roses almost completely cover her home except for the windows. Inside, flowers bloom out from everywhere. The Corren that people blink at when they notice that her wardrobe is a conglomoration of recycled fabrics transformed into dresses. The Corren that people can't quite figure out when she has that permanent little faint smile when they are (unknowingly) annoying her. The Corren that people watch from their window when she's out in the rain without an umbrella, staring off into space at the train station, as if remembering something.
And then there's conservative Corren. Her lusus raised her to be a very modest, very polite child. Double entendres, flirting, and the like tend to fly straight over her head if they aren't very obvious. And if they are noticed, she has a habit of getting either extremely flustered, or extremely angry. Despite this, she isn't attracted to any particular type of person, instead just going with whatever her head says, whether the person be male or female, younger or older. She has the capibility of loving all sorts.
xxxBiography Corren Elicay was very nearly culled as a grub.
It was a simple oversight. Corren, as a grub, had latched onto the skirts of a jade blood and had gone unnoticed while the female troll went down to the city to go and get food for herself and the Mother Grub. Upon purchasing food and attempting to leave, the troll was culled for attempting to steal a grub. Corren would have been culled herself if they hadn't noticed that she was a high-blood.
Corren Elicay was raised by her lusus, stagdad. She grew up very isolated for a high-blooded troll. She didn't quite get social standards until she obtained a computer and promptly started blogging. The girl was socially stunted in so, so many ways. It wasn't until she began to frequent the astrology forums of one of her favourite sites that she began to appreciate her ancestor, the Marerose, who had discovered the constellations in the sky that gave the majority of troll-kind today their symbols. xxxStrife xxStrife Specibus: Polekind
