OK.
Who has seen it?
Or will you go and see it?
Did you like it?

My answers:
Yes! At the drive in!
Yes! I liked it better than the first installment. I can't wait until the last one. Those words are so sad. cat_crying "The last one."
Yeah, I'm a Tolkien geek. emotion_dealwithit

*nerdgasm*

Have not seen it yet; boyfriend and I are going to see it next time I go out to see him, though (we saw the last one together).

Speaking geekly, by the way... I thought Radagast looked vaguely familiar -- just realized it's Sylvester McCoy (Doctor Who #7)!

Oh wow! I don't know much about the early Doctors. That is so cool! Love it!

You will love it! The over all feel of the movie is more like that of the LOTR trilogy, I thought. We loved it. heart

Hey! I absolutely loved it too! Went on a sort of double date to go see it.
I wasn't expecting a cliffhanger and a 3rd movie but i'm still excited nontheless.
I'm not a big fan of CGI but all of their movies execute is so nicely
I only notice it in certain parts.
With that said,
SMAUG IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.
His voice, his cunning it's all there ;-; oh man. And the elven woods.
And the werewolf... I loved all of it!

I know! I loved how Bilbo could hear the spider's talking when he was wearing the ring. To me they sounded just like the cartoon version. Loved that! Smaug is so worth all the fuss. He's amazing. I wish there had been more of the riddles but I can see why not too.

I love LOTR.
I didn't see it yet. I inherited my brother's movies, but only the 3 that were out before his death. I'm definitely increasing his collection tho. I'm glad these movies have had such good reviews on them, but it makes me even more excited about buying them in the future. smile

Since my brother's birthday is in december...and the trilogy so far seems to be releasing in december, we've been going to see it as his birthday day out thing. I quite liked it. Especially the set design of the elves, and stephen fry! Smaug was quite awesome, but yes, just as long winded as the book xd

My brother preferred the 1st instalment so far, because as the middle film, its sorta ehh, a bridge between the beginning and the epic final film. And he's a bit annoyed at all the extra 'filler' they put in too 3nodding

OK! If you haven't seen The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, go see it and see it at an IMAX theater in 3-D. So totally worth it!!! We've seen it at the drive in but nothing compares to the 3-D experience. heart heart heart heart heart heart
