Over the course of the holiday season, I want to wish you all safe travels, good food, and happy holidays.
My family has never been much for Christmas, and since I'm in the beginning of my own religious research and journeying, I'll be sitting at home with a large supply of tea, catching up on some reading and making snowmen.

What's everyone doing for the holidays?

And while I've got all right here,
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanuka, Happy Kwanza, Season's Greetings, Yuletide Blessings, and a very very Happy New Year!

FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR! FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR!!! *BOUNCES*
Apologies, everyone. My Christmas spirit is always high on candy canes and hot chocolate (in the same cup).

Christmas plans this year are pretty simple because my injuries prevent me from traveling (was in a car accident 2 months ago for those of you that haven't hear the story). A quiet Christmas at home with my amazing boyfriend Wesley (yes, like from Princess Bride, but missing a 'T') and my beautiful sister, Lioness. Mom should be stopping by on Christmas day for Christmas dinner.

We literally moved into our new apt today... so I'm hoping for a very quiet Christmas from today on. Resting, with instrumental and traditional celtic Christmas music, reading my Bible and other favorite books - I read the Lord of the Rings and A Christmas Carol every year around this time.
And enjoying some really delicious food with my favorite people.

I am really counting my blessings this year. I might not have been here to enjoy this Christmas. Many thanks to everyone who is trying to cheer me up and make this Christmas so special.

★★☆

I'm honestly not really in the christmas spirit this year. I, too, am going through a bit of religious research and journeying, so I second the motion to drink lots of tea. Also alcohol, because I'm still making up for the 8 months I spent completely sober in Afghanistan. There will be reading. There will be knitting. There will be cooking and baking.
I'm super excited to get to spend time with my darling sister! In a couple of days, I get to go see my nephew and get my baby fix, then driving down to Florida to spend the rest of the holiday season with DustQueen!

I'm not into Christmas myself, but some of the more frivolous themes of Christmas can be fun to participate in: lights, little Christmas trees (holiday bush, if you prefer), some carols, etc.
