Q. Describe your self. What do you think about yourself and do you think people perceive you in the same way?

A. "Well, to be honest, I think I'm pretty weak. Not a very exciting person, but that might be for the best. I'd be surprised if anyone really saw me as anything otherwise, aside from my mutation of course."


Q. Which is your most favorite book ever?

A. "Hmn, that's really a difficult one. I read a lot, you see... it'd have to be the Fallen series though. I kind of have an interest in angels and demons, and the like."


Q. Which is the one television character that you simply adore?

A. "I don't really watch a lot of television, but I really like the underdog characters best."


Q. What kind of music do you like?

A. "I listen to a little of everything, but punk is definitely my favorite."


Q. Which is your favorite genre of movies?

A. "I'd have to say action and fantasy- really anything with a cool plot, strong characters, and some good humor."


Q. What do you do when you feel very sad or depressed?

A. "I usually just want to be alone. A lot of the time I'll sort of mope around, maybe sleep a little until I feel better."


Q. What makes you angry? Are you short-tempered? How do you overcome your anger?

A. "What makes me the the angriest is when people treat me badly because of my genes, or when they hurt my friends for a similar reason. I like to think I have a pretty long fuse, but when I do get angry I usually take it out on my training."


Q. Which is the best vacation you've ever had?

A. "One time my mom took me on a road trip to Colorado. The mountains were really beautiful!"


Q. If you could have a luncheon with any three people, real or fictitious, from any time period, dead or alive, which three people would you choose and why?

A. "Honestly, I'd probably stick with people I know and trust, like Xavier and Nightcrawler. Oh, and my mom! I'd love for her to meet my friends here at the institute."


Q. Which is your most cherished childhood memory? What kind of kid were you, naughty or nice?

A. "A cherished memory? Probably the day my powers first showed up. Even though it kind of threw my life out of whack, I don't regret having them. They gave me purpose. As for what kind of kid I was, I'd probably have to say nice. Your average, quiet bookworm."


Q. If given complete freedom to start afresh, what profession would you choose and why?

A. "I'd want to be a writer, because literature is really the only thing I have any skill in."


Q. What is your idea of fun? If given a chance to skip work for a day, how would you spend the entire day?

A. "I'd stay home with a hot cup of coffee, curled up in bed all cozy with a good book and my notebook to jot down story ideas."


Q. Which is your favorite time of the day?

A. "Sunset. I love the colors, and the amount of light is just right not to hurt my eyes or burn my skin. I would say night, but that's generally when my powers are harder to control."


Q. Are you a morning person or a night person?

A. "Neither, really. I love to sleep in, but I try to get to bed early so my shadows don't act up too much. They sometimes do when I'm sleeping though."


Q. What is the craziest thing you've ever done?

A. "Definitely when I left home to come to the institute."


Q. Name one person you love the most and one person you hate the most.

A. "I love my mom, because she always supported me and only ever wanted what was best for me. I hate my father because of what he did to her."


Q. If we were a couple and we had a fight, how would you try to patch things up?

A. "I'd probably be stubborn about it at first, but in the end I'd do my best to make you happy. I'd give you some sweets and write you a nice note, or a sappy poem, probably."


Q. What is the funniest prank played on you or played by you?

A. "I'm not really one for pranks. Nobody ever played any on me, and I never played any on anyone else."


Q. If given a choice, which animal would you want to be? Why?

A. "A cat. They're just so chill and easygoing, and they can pretty much do whatever they want without anyone getting onto them."


Q. Who was your first crush? Did you ever tell him/her about your feelings?

A. "My first crush? Can't say I've really had one. Closest thing to that would be admiration, and that goes to Nightcrawler, just because he's very strong and confident in areas that I'm not."


Q. Which is your most favorite place in this earth?

A. "Probably the institute. I love how safe it makes me feel. Back home with my mom would have to be a close second though."


Q. If you were stranded on a lonely beach, what are the five things that you would want, to survive?

A. "Food, water, and something to shield me from the sun."


Q. If I gave you an elephant where would you hide it?

A. "What would I want with an elephant?!"


Q. What is your favorite color of socks to wear?

A. "Does it matter? Nobody sees my socks anyway."


Q. Do you wear boxers or briefs?

A. "Boxers are pretty comfortable for sleeping in."

A. "Odd question, but lets just say buttermilk. My mom used to make the best buttermilk biscuits."

A. "There was this one Japanese restaurant back home that mom and I used to go to all the time on special occasions... I hate to say that the name's slipped my mind though."

A. "N-naughty? Oh, um... god, is my face red? It feels red. Um... Nobody, to be honest."


Q. All those fraud cases against your brother, are they true?

A. "I don't have a brother..."


Q. Do you suffer from sleepwalking?

A. "Does it count if my shadows come alive if I have a nightmare?"


Q. Did you ever do drugs?

A. "Ugh, no. Not about to risk that."


Q. Were you bullied as a kid?

A. "Sort of, but it was never really too bad. Mostly just harmless name calling."

A. "Jeans, long-sleeve shirt, hoodie and sneakers."

A. "I don't follow."


Q. Who according to you is the best dressed man in the school?

A. "I don't really pay attention to that sort of thing. Scott seems pretty sharp, but I'm also not that up to date on everyone at the institute."

A. "Again, I wouldn't know. And if I did, I wouldn't say something about her behind her back."


Q. Name an infamous accident of yours. Does it still haunt you?

A. "When my powers first manifested, it was in the middle of school, and a bunch of kids got scratched and bruise because I couldn't control my shadows. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried that something like that might happen again."

A. "I'm not very desirable."

A. "Is it a kind of ice cream or frozen treat?"

A. "Cats, definitely. Dogs are a little too loud and high-maintenance for me."

A. "Ice cream, juice, strawberries, milk, and coffee creamer."

A. "I only have one hat."

A. "Probably that I'm really anxious all the time. About my powers, about being near other people... it's pretty sad, really."

A. "The first time I flew using my shadow-wings. Granted, it only lasted three minutes, but it was exciting nonetheless."

A. "I'd go back to tell my mom I was sorry for leaving, and then I'd spend the whole day with her, doing what we used to do all the time."

A. "Nightcralwer's sort of my only friend, but I'd say he's a strong eight on that scale."

A. "I'd wish for total control over my powers, more self confidence, and hardback copies of all my favorite books."

A. "Sometimes Nightcralwer will lash his tail when he gets excited, and since I'm so short it usually ends up hitting me in the face."

A. "I speak English and sarcasm fluently."

A. "People talking to me when I'm reading or writing."


Q. Where do you see yourself five years from now?

A. "Still a loyal member of the X-Men team. Hopefully I'll have graduated from being just a normal student by then."

A. "I'd probably put it most of it in my savings account. Whatever didn't go in there would soon be blown at Barnes and Noble."

A. "I'd probably be the exact same if I was a boy."

A. "Probably not. I'd be panicking within thirty minutes."

A. "I wish I could publish a novel."

A. "If I can manipulate shadows, I fail to see why other races can't exist."

A. "I have a blood phobia. Found out when I tried to donate blood and ended up passing out."

A. "Probably the time I curled up in my shadows when I was cold and I didn't have a blanket. Instead of going to find one, I made one."

A. "Anyone but myself."

A. "Never had the proper chance. I've glided on my wings before, but again, it didn't last long."

A. "Sitting at home and relaxing with a hot drink, a cupcake and a book."

A. "Books, sweets, my notebook, sleep, hot baths."

A. "I want to be able to use my powers to help people and do good in the world some day. I know, a cliche answer. Other than that, I'd like to publish a book."

A. "Saturday, because I can sleep in as late as I want, and relax all day."

A. "World peace. I'd make an awful ruler."

A. "I've only had it once, but it was french toast with powdered sugar, strawberries and whipped cream on top. It was so good."

A. "My seniors at the school."

A. "I really like red, just because it's so bright and passionate."


Q. If you could live on any other planet, which one would it be?

A. "None, because they don't have the necessary atmospheric conditions to support life. I'd die on any planet other than Earth."

A. "Colorado, and New York. I haven't been very many places."
