Chynna Clugston is an American comic book creator. She is well known for her series Blue Monday.
She attended the Roosevelt School of the Arts. After graduation she submitted some minicomics to Fantaco who hired her to draw the miniseries Bloodletting. After doing some smaller works for other publications she went to Oni Press, where she produced her series, Blue Monday, which has influences of manga in them.
She has been nominated for three Eisner Awards, the Russ Manning award and a Harvey Award. She was also nominated for the 2001 Lulu of the Year Award by Friends of Lulu for Blue Monday.
She is interested in Japanese, Irish, and British culture, including mod fashion, britpop, and film.
