The door to Robert's room was open. This was because he was carrying things in and out from his room, and a lot of said somethings looked like junk. Just a few boxes, but heavy enough to need the door propped open as he hefted them one by one into his tiny basement room.

Milo had missed the first round of box moving, having gone on a run around the areas least likely to kill him (as his usual course). But once back in his room, still a bit sweaty but with a towel around his neck, it was when he noticed strange noises coming from down the hall. And not the usual precarious voices of the two girls across from his room. No, it was down it. Where other people lived. The people he barely saw. It perked his interest (anything would really) and the brunette rested his head against the metal bars of his pathetic door and pushed it to take a peek.
And grinned. Dubiously. Dude. It was that one guy. The one guy he never saw, that older guy. Exciting! The door was pushed further to allow his body to slink out, he didn't really bother to close it and simply just jogged his way down the hall. "Dude, dude, dude ~" It was like a little chant. "I was beginning to wonder if you existed and stuff."
Then he stared at the boxes, "you need help or something?"
