Just thought I'd point out the complete contradiction to how Gaia is handling the feedback on gold, and how they contradict themselves in the same thread. It's only a matter of time before they delete it to cover their tracks, so I'm keeping records for safekeeping.

Yes, Gaia no longer follows their own rules... Everything is free game and nothing is sacred.

I'm just amazed they haven't deleted that contradiction.

I mean they are pretty much saying:

"We don't want to release huge amounts of gold, so we'll release huge amount of gold for money"

I don't think it's that. I think it's more like they're planning their next sale, and because of that they put actually looking at feedback at the bottom of the priority list. Then they stack mundane item shop releases on that.

Think of the bottom row of a Jenga tower. It's the only one that never completely disappears.

I miss when they actually cared cared about the economy. I don't know why they had to pull away from that idea, they had it right.

Well, along came a CEO with a track record that would look Nexon look good in business...

And he didn't really pay attention to the community or even make an avatar at all. he just decided to hire a "Gamication" COO to get all the income. Then promoted Narumi to make sure that goal was met.

And Narumi has been doing whatever it takes to get money, regardless of who gets hurt out of it.

Here I was so happy they went about two days without a flash sale, no flynn, just advertising this new RIG. I actually liked this idea because they were getting people interested in new items and for a decent price... then they release more flynn. emotion_facepalm
