Greetings everyone. Feel free to post your intro here. You can talk about what bothers you about gaia in short summary if you like.
As you know, I'm Darius Runan. 2003 gaian and proud to be a part of this site's long and great history. I created this guild because I am tired of the blatant disrespect towards non cash buyers. The consistent release of Flynn's booty has abolished the great questing system that users had created in order to be capable of obtaining a cash shop item for themselves. Now the non cash buyers are ignored, given only the option of buy or bye.
It makes me sick, and it has cost me many friends. But I will not let Gaia Staff get away with it, nor will I let people be forced to leave because of their need for money.

I go by the name of Javier Cross on the site, I've been here since around 2008-2009 when I joined Gaia.
I was a disjointed mess when I first arrived to the site, I couldn't even fend for myself properly before Azukeri Mercer invited me to the site, may Azukeri rest in peace. emo
I thought this was supposed to be a bright place to start role-playing, as for a time I felt very happy in here.
But as of right Now?
Even the Art shops are becoming nowhere to be found, inflation has gotten to the point where its as if its waging a not-so-'holy-war' against the artists of Gaia, and thus even when we do find an Art shop, the prices get jacked up for next to no reason at all.
What gives, I ask you? sad

I am TCP Art Shop, aka Alexis Stowecroft, aka Eris Caelestis (My main that I havent logged much until recently). I've been a member of Gaia since May of 03 On my Eris Account (but I've had several accounts since).
I have loved being on Gaia over the years and I feel saddened by how its gone downhill lately. The new CEO and COO are toxic to this once fun place and its just shameful what they've done to this place.
I opened my art shop to help fund my quest for items for my 3 dream avi's. Unfortunately, due to Gaia's constant releases of Flynn's Assets the prices of my quest items have skyrocketed to the point where I have had to call it quits and abandon my quest. I am still doing art but thanks to Gaia's greed and their screwing of the economy I cant buy more than gold shop items.

Hey everyone. I've been around since October of 04 and was brought here by my sister who is also on Gaia. I'm just sick of Flynn, sick of flash sales, and sick of the fact that so many of my friends have disappeared from the site. I used to have a lot of fun when I was on Gaia but I just don't anymore. The way users are being treated right now and the lack of communication between users and staff has created a really poisonous atmosphere. Even my sisters and my mom who used to come on Gaia and chat with me don't much anymore and that is pretty sad.

Hola, I'm Apollos Liar. This is my second account, but I've been on the site since March '05. I've loved the site over the years and have always had a waning interest (mainly because all of my friends left), but now I'm hardly interested in the site anymore. I met one of my best friends ever this year on the site and I can't even generate enough interest to hang with them on here. I just catch him outside of Gaia. Every time I see a new advertisement, I just don't even read it nor do I care about half of the things the site has to say. The way that I really see it now is that the site is for people who spend cash and those of us who don't--regardless of our contributions to the site--are just here to deal with it. We can just deal, right? surprised
Anyway, I've been getting a bit tired of the debate these days because they've forced me to the point of being apathetic, which is sad. I thought that this would be the year that gaia would be less lonely and less routine. I guess not.

I've been a member since 2005, I went on a 4 year hiatus in 2009, and just came back this summer, before the whole s**t show began. I tell ya, I've seen more change in these last 6 months than what I have seen in my 4 year absence.
Like all of you, I am sick of Gaia's antic's as of late. There needs to be an end to all gold generators, more gold sinks and better communication. I'm hoping I can see some positive changes to this site, before I decide to take another hiatus..

Hello! I am ScienceDog. I originally joined back in March of 05 as Kaptn-Dusk-Nightstar. This is my second account.
I love(d) coming to gaia. Yes, there had been ups and downs since I joined but this, pumping mad amounts of gold into the site, crazy overpricing and re-releasing items to make money. Cutting almost all communication with the community that love(d) this site only to be replaced by NPC staff to sell items and gold for real cash. It breaks my heart. I used to spend cash when I could but now I can't even afford the stuff they are putting out. be it real cash or the time and effort spent to quest for the item.

Hiya. I am Bellamia28. I joined ... to be honest, i don't remember when i joined. Anyways, this is my first account. I am proud to say that i have never bought GC before, nor do i ever want to. I used to play zOMG to gain gold for the items i was questing for, but the recent gold spikes and recoloring (really, most items they are putting out now shouldn't be called re-releases) of items has somewhat put a damper on that. Even though everything has changed, imho mostly not for the best, i still cling to my old habit of going into the original towns and just running around like i used to when i first joined.
I'm among those who are sick of the what ever you want to call the people who "run our website"'s shenanigins. tbh, i think a 2 year old could run the website better ... maybe a little older than that. I do hope that we see some positive changes soon because, honestly, i hate seeing a website that started out like the shining sun turn into an eclipse of disasters ...
What happened to the old Gaia people used to know D: ?

Hey, I'm The CospIayer and I joined back in July 2007. I used to want so many items on this site, but thanks to flynn the lat two items I want jumped from 14 million to 100 million in a mere 4 months. That's insane! As much as I'm not happy with gaia for the constant flynn releases, this is just as much fault on the users that continue buying them. I still love coming here, mostly for the old features, but I'm really worried for the direction they're heading.

Hello everyone. I once loved this site ever since an EX-Friend invited me here to get away from other sites that had gone bad to me. Gaia was once a great site and a great haven for me, and Gaia Cash was once fair and reasonable. I used Gaia Cash to help me earn and make gold currency so I could have all the nice items that were suitable and reasonable. Flynn, who once ran the cash shop was also once reasonable.
But now a days, I see Club Verge, Jet, and Flynn and all they care about is money. I see all these flash sales, black friday sales, and exclusive avatar items going up from $50.00 to $120.00 just for avatar items is just absolutely ridiculous! How could anyone manage on such a policy? Whoever came up with such new policies is just messed up!

Hello. I'm Shadowfax_Luc. I've been on Gaia for nearly half my life. Whatever that means to you, feel free to take it in whatever direction seems fit. Probably obvious that it's not been with this account but that will change in a few days after I improve my avatar (yay). But still... it is fairly annoying.
I wasn't on Gaia in 2003 so I don't remember Go-Gaia... but I do remember the culture in 04-05 and it was staggeringly different from the culture now. However, certain things haven't changed much...
Either way, I'm excited to be apart of this guild.
