Please move this where ever it would fit best, I'm just trying to get a little bit of talk going. I know there was a lot of ownership change so I'm just trying to be productive lol.
I am having a hard time with the Matron/Patron idea. For years in my practice I worked with the God and Goddess. For the past few months I was very connected to Anubis and Nephthys and admittedly also Oshun, even though she is from a different pantheon. And now I'm confused because I love the Egyptian mythology but find myself attracted to hoodoo and African God/esses and I'm not really sure what to do.
Also, for those of you who have matron/patrons, do you work with the entire pantheon that they are in or just them???

I will predominantly work with my Patron but I will work with other members of their pantheon when the need arises, however it's best to get to know the other deities first before working with them as they don't tend to take to kindly to being called upon from out of the blue.

From what I've heard gods or spirits choose you. personally I'm not going with anyone unless something soundly resonates. I really don't think there are any rules to it though, just whatever works for you.
