Paisley Promise [Surname].
Our precious baby. Paisley is a Yorkshire Terrier, not even a year old. We bought her when my mom was in a very rough patch, going through some minor depression regarding "Empty Nest Syndrome". The puppy was therapy. Also, to prevent my mother from pestering my sister about giving her grandchildren already.
Her name stemmed from my mother's favorite pattern ("Paisley") and the idea that she was a promise of sanity to her.
She is the sweetest little puppy dog, and she will just lick you to death. Her three favorite things (in this order) is: Family, Strangers, Food. She won't leave you alone if you have food.
If you're sick, she'll lay with you and give you something to cuddle while you're lying in bed with anything from cramps to a cold.

Russia "Ivan Braginski" [Surname]
Russia "Ivan Braginski" is my pet gerbil. He lives alone, only because there were two gerbils left and it turned out that Austria "Roderich Edelstein" was his sister. So we had to return poor Austria after she suffered from some unfortunate, unwanted incest.
He's like an antisocial teenager. He just eats, sleeps, and snaps at you if you interrupt either activity. He's fond of his wheel, and has actually cried at me for taking it out. He's such a funny little fellow. He's a picky eater, but he'll become the sweetest, happiest thing if you give him some green beans. Also, he would starve if I didn't dig his food out every night, because he keeps forgetting where he hid it.
Not exactly a playmate, but he's certainly good company and loves to listen to you talk. So long as he has something to do in the meanwhile. Although he doesn't usually, if I'm upset, he'll sit in my hands and let me pet him.

If I can get pictures of either precious baby, I'll certainly edit this post and add them! Unfortunately, for the time being, there aren't any uploaded to the computer.

This is my Freyja. Primadonna princess pants. The most diva cat you will EVER meet. I got her for Christmas 2011 as a 5 month old kitten and she is a total momma's girl. Shes smart, channels her inner bengal, and is very demandy. She is a dainty maine coon mix.


This is Mister Loki. We adopted him in March from the shelter as a broken dirty matted man cat who weighed 11 pounds. ( Mister in March ) Since then he has been diagnosed with Feline asthma, FLUTD and has cost me a signifigant amount in vet bills. We finally got him to a happy place and he is the biggest goofball on the face of the planet. emotion_bigheart He is a norwedgian forest cat mix who now weighs a hefty 17 pounds.
