I have Pokemon X, but I want to get Pokemon Y for Christmas to complete the set.
Plus, since I know the pokemon a bit better and what ones are at the end, I am going to be choosing Froakie and then the charizard. I will have to get a copy of either one if I am going to get all three. Unless they are planning on making Pokemon Z.
Pokemon Z would be similar to Pokemon X and Y except that instead of Team Flare, they'd have team Freeze.
So, while we have a grass/fairy and a fire/dark (which houndoom would be the same as Y's Legendary for type), we would have an Ice/Psychic Pokemon named Zenon.
This way too its fair to catch all of the Kanto starters with their mega forms when you reach Lumoise city and visit the professor.
Plus, in Z, I think they should have team flare helping our heroes to defeat Team Freeze in order to redeem their ways.
In X and Y, there was this guy that wanted to live forever and his pokemon granted that wish? Well, what if that same guy had a brother that convinced said giant to cause havoc thus causing the separation. And when the hero meets with the evil brother and defeats him in battle, instead of wanting redemption completely, he asks that he be put out of his misery and be killed for his dark deeds.
He feels that for a trainer who sought to cause that much turmoil and break the most important bond...a family one...should not even exist.
Fans would certainly make comments to that notion, but...from a creator's standpoint, that would make sense.
