Walking in after Tao, Kenton was keeping calm as to copy the captain. For once he had to take this seriously or he had no hope at all if he were to become a Lieutenant or a captain. Kenton walked over to the pavilion and stood by the captain as he did not know what Tao was planning. Sure Kenton was weak in the man's eyes but he had a hunch that when Kenton did become a Lieutenant, he would be twice as strong then he were now. That Idea made Kenton happy knowing what could happen.

Looking at the man and then around the grounds he had to try to make this interesting for the man. "Ok Captain, what do you plan on doing now?" he asked as politely as he could. In this area and from now on, Tao was his Sensei. He might as well be since he was training the boy. He see's us as weak, me must show him otherwise or we shall not evolve as we have planned to do. Trust in me and be prepared," Arashin's voice trailed in the wind.

Listening to what his captain was talking about he registered the information. He knew most of this stuff anyway, sure each division had a specialty. He still could not fathom what his own specialty was."I realised you have not even mentioned the world of the living in our duties Captain Tao," Kenton stated confused as to why the captain did not mention this. They even went on a mission to that place called London. As for the spying part he even listened on a conversation Tao had with the captain of squad four and he got away with it. So now he knew he could spy already which might help in the future somehow. Listening to the captains words and thinking about his promise to become Tao's equal. He would now train as hard as he could to make sure Tao acknoweledged him as a powerful companion. closing his eyes he thought back to when he first gained his shikai, it almost cost him his own body in achieving it and Arashin was almost as cold as Tao was now. After thinking for a while it suddenly came to the boy. He had to be willing to sacrifice himself during training in order to gain more for himself. He had to put his whole being into this. So he opened his eyes and raised his own spirit pressure enough so his deep blue aura shone within the pavilion.

Kenton took a single step and used a flash step to sidestep around the man so Kenton appeared behind him. Raising his fist he poured energy into his right fist and hoped this attack would atleast get the man to move. "Hadou number 15, Gō Ken (Hard fist)," he commanded as his right hand became more dense and heavy. He stepped on his left foot and charged from behind the captain with his opening attack. His shikai was his ace card at this current moment so it was best he used that last. What he did not tell the captain was that Hadou was a favorable means of attack in Arashin's eyes so it was more potent with Kenton. Tao wanted all means of attack? "Well I better not let him down," Kenton thought to himself.

Of course the captain would see his every move, he knew that. Feeling the man grab his hand as quickly as he did was amazing, "This is definitely going to be tricky," he thought to himself as he heard the captain mutter something. A few seconds went by and he suddenly felt a burning sensation, what was this? Kenton had little time to react as the explosion caught him and he was sent rolling backwards, almost hitting the wall. As he lay there with a burnt hand he evaluated his situation. "Ok so short range attacks will not work against Tao and he has burnt my right hand. Fortunately that wont matter when it comes to using shikai so I will not worry about that. The only options I have left are long-range and mid-range Kidou spells, using my Zanpakuto and hopefully try to get him to use his and finally I have my shikai," Kenton thought as he rolled his eyes. He did cringe as the pain stung, he would have to ignore it until he used shikai,"Man up Kenton," he said to himself as he got ready to make his next move.

Using his left hand he managed to get himself back onto his feet. His right hand was slightly shaking from the blast and charred bits of flesh were covering the hand. Kenton sighed as he knew he would have to draw his sword if he had any hope in order to even fight. Using his damaged hand he un-sheathed his Zanpakuto and held it with both hands so he had more control when it came to his swordsmanship. Widening his stance as to prepare he knew what he could do. "Hadou 11, tsuzuri raiden (bound lightning)," he commanded as sparks started to fly off his blade. Channeling his spells power into his blade he would use the kidou spell to increase his chances of hitting the man. Using another flash step, Kenton charged at Tao deliberately. Kenton's only option was to take the man head on."It is nearly time," he whispered.

The captain was too strong,Kenton knew there was no way he could get a single strike on the man like this. Just as his Kidou was to strike the man Kenton's eyes widened as Tao said that damn word. He hated Seki with a passion as it was not the first time the spell was used on Kenton. He remembered he tried to ask out that other kid in squad ten for a date, the other boy however just used kidou to send Kenton flying and that was the last time Kenton ever spoke to the lad. There was no way Kenton could dodge this one so he let his own kidou discharge and vanish as his body hit the blue orb.

He felt that similar force push him back as he was swept off his feet. "This is too much for me, he is to strong. I have no choice," Kenton thought as he could tell the captain was about to strike him another time. It was as if the man had no interest to begin with. He was not trying hard and Kenton could see that. "This is impossible," Kenton thought as all hope and happiness left him. He could not see how he could become powerful if this is how the fight would play out. He used his left hand quickly to cover his face because he knew while in this position his face was the most vulnerable.

**Flashback to 55 years ago**

It was a dark forest, Kenton hated the dark. He had been hearing the same voices in hi dreams coming from this spot. He had no Idea who it was he could hear, only that it was someone important. The boy walked for another good few minutes when he came to a clearing in the forest.. Right in the middle of the clearing was a blue Zanpakuto which was balancing on it's tip. As if it were levitating. Kenton cautiously walked up to it and walked around it. "I know you can hear me now, please trust me. I need you to grab the blades handle," the voice said. Kenton looked puzzled. He knew nothing about the voice in his head and he did not want to be ambushed in anyway.

After thinking for a while he knew no one would gain anything by taking him hostage or killing him so he walked up to the blade and reached out. He grabbed the handle with his right hand and smiled. It was light and kind of felt right to hold it. He closed his eyes and for the first time , he felt that falling sensation he would grow to love. Opening his eyes he looked around, he was lying on a patch of soft grass. He was in a very strange field, dotted around on the ground lay cracks of blue light and there was a thunder storm brewing above. He looked around until he saw a man about twenty meters away from him standing on a stone pedestal. He splayed his arms out and smiled, " Welcome friend to my kingdom," Arashin bellowed.

Kenton was sure as hell not to give up now, he had no choice now. Taking his hands away from his face he coughed heavily as he rolled away from the ma. He placed both hands on the floor and pushed himself up. Slowly getting up he now had to think of what he was going to do after this next move."He will expect it coming, but at the same time it will make him fight more seriously," the boy thought to himself as he raised his blade with his right hand. Looking at Tao kind of frightened him now. Tao was a quiet man, but a deadly opponent. No wonder he got to where he was now. Kenton looked as his still charred right hand and sighed, that would take time off of his day to get healed.

Looking back up at the man he almost glared at him in order to show that he had not given up yet."I am sorry Captain but I'm not done yet, I still have not yet exerted enough spirit pressure to amaze you. Now watch carefully what 50 years in a cave can do to someone," he said as he started to raise his spirit pressure back up, but this time it was bright enough to light up the whole room.

**Flashback to 55 years ago**

This man was a strange on, but for some reason Kenton felt like he had known the guy since birth. "Who are you?" the kid questioned the man. Arashin smiled and jumped off the pedestal. Walking over to the boy. " Is it not obvious who I am? You are a Soul Reaper with now Zanpakuto to call his own and you ask who am i?" the man asked as he closed the gap between the two. Kenton's eyes widened as he started to understand where the voices had been coming from, who they came from. "If what you say is true then I wish to master you, to fight with you to become a squad captain!" Kenton shouted as Arashin's smile grew wider. "Then child take my blade and call upon me when the fight is to difficult to complete alone. Use me to brighten up even the darkest of nights." He shouted back as his own aura started to glow blue. Kenton raised his blade and pointed the tip of the blade toward as his own smile began to show. "What is your name Zanpakuto?" Kenton asked. Arashin waked next to the child and placed his hand on the Zanpakuto. " My name is!".

**Back to the present day**

Kenton rotated the blade as the air in the room began to increase in weight. Kenton was now ready to show the man what he had been working on. He wanted to prove why he should be seen as a powerful ally and partner. Kenton breathed deeply as the time had finally come. "Surge from the heavens above to the earths below!," he commanded as the blade lit up in a brilliant blue light."Arashin no Hashin!,"
