I'm sorry that you feel that way. Lover of the Arts is a guild where you ca share you artforms and comment on others. In order for all this to work though, the members all have to be willing to criticise, comment and chat. I left this guild without contests for a while but there was no activity in the forums for sharing art, so to try and create more activity, I started contests. Since I don't feel comfortable creating art contests myself because of my lack of experience with art and music (I'm only 16, give me a break here) I hired other members to specialise in different areas. There jobs were to create a wide range of contests. We have never been about the money, EVER. If you are referring to the lotto's, this is the second one we've ever had, it's not like we have them often, and I spent over a mill on prizes for both of them collectively and there purpose is to create funds for contests that YOU want. They are to make contests YOU are complaining we don't have. Unless you want all these contest with crappy layouts and no prizes, I suggest you stop complaining. We are here to allow others to express themselves and it insults me greatly that you think of our guild in any other way. I go to school 5 days a week and work on the weekends so I clearly don't have enough time to make sure everyone is creating a range of contests. Just now I finished a major exam that I've been studying and stressing over for weeks, and I've got two more tomorrow and more the next day and the day after that. Most days I only have time to comment on one or two things, no where near enough time to start an art contest and a music contest and all the rest. I ned all the help I can get and it's rare that I get any.
Again, I'm sorry that you feel that way, but I have a very stressul life, and no where near enough time to accomplish every members wants and needs.
