Well we could possibly have some sort of giveaway and promote the guild through it. By doing that we can broaden the horizon of the audience and perhaps get more people to join as well. In order for it to work we would have to make the prize just a thought in the back of the other gaians' heads though.

The more people we have the more likely the forums we have will lighten up a bit.

I think the Roleplaying thread is a good idea.
Get our creative juices flowing.
We definitely need more people though.
So, I think recruiting is in order 3nodding
With only a hand full of people whom post everyday
this Guild will be at a stand still.

In order for it to work we would have to make the prize just a thought in the back of the other gaians' heads though. the only thing i worry about though is it might attract the wrong people. i think mark wanted this to be a for sure safe haven for us and the people who love/support us. but if we do target gaians in lgbt forums ect it could be quite good seeing as we already have random prizes and what not. i'm sure there will be more to come too wink . but awesome suggestion.

this Guild will be at a stand still. ok sounds good =) but agian the concern from the first post agian about grabbing the wrong kind of people (those who are bigots to be precise and go out of their way to harm) as i am only worried about the safety and happiness of those in the guild granted we can remove them if they lie and bash members but i fear they could do lots of harm even in one post. but if you happen to know of good people by all means invite them. i'll work on doing the same. wink

The risk factor is definitely an obstacle, because it comes down to a matter of ethics regarding new people. Personal suggestions take time because members would have to get a feel of a person prior nominating them to join. Immediate action may be a little out of reach at the given moment considering this guild is still new. If you ask me I feel we should gradually increase our member count and as we progress the process grows faster.
