Personality: Humorous and good-natured, considering that his powers are less useful and far more along the lines of irritating. Though sometimes it's just too much to take for the day. Add to that an incredible clumsiness (Or simple bad luck, the jury is still out on that one) and he definitely could have a much more sour disposition. Gentle, patient, kind, and somewhat sarcastic, Isaac tends to be the kind of person people run to when they need someone who is going to listen more than talk.
Patient, even-tempered, and perhaps a touch soft-spoken, nonetheless Isaac can take on a frightening change when angered or fighting. Few things can push him to such a dark fierceness, but few things are us unexpected as when he gets there. Intelligent and studious, Isaac is always volunteering to tutor his classmates, provide a listening ear for the troubled, and help out in any way he can. So the fact that he's a black belt and a terrifying fighter is a surprise to anyone who can push him to that point.
History: Isaac has an interesting history. Nothing ever seemed to work right around him. Especially electrical objects. Isaac has never played a video game or worked a remote control in his life. Because he can't. They don't work around him. He can't even use a cell phone. In this day an age, that is a serious problem, and Isaac had more than his own share of difficulties growing up. Normal school was a problem, he couldn't use a computer and his handwriting was atrocious. His parents homeschooled for a while, but Isaac chafed at being so cut off from the rest of the world. It's not that homeschooling was bad, but without a phone or use of a computer, in a world that increasingly relies on them, Isaac was alone far more than he normally would have been. His frustration pushed his parents to seek other options. He was discovered by professor Xavier when he passed too close to his electric chair and momentarily disabled it. Professor Xavier was bewildered, to say the least. When he talked to Isaac's parents they admitted to his strangeness and accepted Professor Xavier's offer to take the young man to his school. And Isaac would never be able to get over the irony once he found out that he was accepted into a school with some of the most advanced electrical equipment in the world....

Fashion:Isaac tends to wear untucked, button-up shirts, or long-sleeved crew-necks. He dresses in green, brown, or dark red, with black jean pants. He tends to wear boots....because it's the only pair of footwear he has left and he's too broke to buy any more. They're beginning to get more than a little worn out. He also has a worn-out, black jacket
Uniform: None, Isaac really has no particular uniform at the moment, he wears whatever he's wearing.

Items of Interest: Isaac wears a mechanical watch. (Digital or battery-powered ones don't work for him.)
Personal Gear: Small pocket-knife, usually keeps a first aid kit in a vehicle nearby.
Weapons Used or On Hand: Fists, pocket-knife if he has to. Once he learns to control his 'field' a bit better, he proves rather talented with firearms.
Other: Isaac has a blunt, metal practice sword from his martial arts days. It has no edge, but it's still heavy. Nonetheless, it stays in a trunk in his dorm, where it's been for the last eight months or so.

Inabilities: Any electrical object, or thermal reaction is simply impossible for him. He can't even start a car....although he can drive one if it is already on. Once he gains control over his powers, he can manage an extremely limited amount of interaction with these kinds of things. (He can only suppress his powers for a handful of minutes at a time.)
Fears: Isolation from being unable to use technology in a tech-run world.
Hobbies: Writing, martial arts, puzzle and strategy games.
Other: Isaac is studying emergency medicine, where he can work without using a whole lot of electrical items. He's still getting hung up on not being able to operate a defibrillator, however.
Powers and Personal Weaknesses
Powers: In short, immunity (wanted or not) from any kind of heat or electricity. Isaac's 'power' is more passive than most. He is surrounded by a field that somehow calms down excited molecules in substances. Heat and electricity are molecules or particles in substances moving rapidly. He cannot really turn this ability off, either, so Isaac has never enjoyed a gameboy, or a campfire. Alternatively, his life was saved when he was very young, Isaac was trapped in a burning building and nearly died.....from smoke inhalation. But he and his clothes weren't even singed and the spot he was lying on wasn't even remotely scorched. The firemen had no clue how that happened. This is in a field projected about two inches off his body. He could be in the same room, even relatively close to electronics, as long as he's not practically holding them. However, this power 'wraps' any object he's holding...so even if the power source is several feet from what he's touching, it might still be disabled. Its ability to 'wrap' an object is not limitless, larger objects or significantly isolated power sources may be spared. Isaac does not shut a car's engine off by sitting in the backseat, for example. Touching the hood of it, however...
This is unconscious and persistent, though Isaac later learns how to direct his field to a limited to degree, and even turn it off for periods of time, though only with intense training from psychic X-men.
Weaknesses: His power is his weakness. Immune to flame, electrical currents, and inexplicably, most all heart disorders, any electronic brought within two inches of Isaac simply...dies. All power stops, since all the electrons calm down and electricity doesn't flow. Unfortunately, this means that he can't use a computer or any other device, and a lot of high-tech medical machines short out when used on him, since this power is active even if he is not conscious. E.M. shielded objects don't lose all their functionality, suggesting that this 'field' is partially electromagnetic in nature, but they still act up nonetheless and are generally unreliable. Isaac's learned how to get on without the amenities others enjoy. Fire doesn't warm him, since his field even calms molecules in the air around him. The temperature can drop, but not rise around him. Even on a hot summer day Isaac enjoys room-temperature climate. So if he's freezing, fire won't warm him, though blankets will. Isaac's powers come with more than their share of complications. He cannot operate a computer, fire a gun, or even turn a car on. Isaac really has no additional protection. Anything that will hurt another person can hurt him. And sometimes being protected from heat and electricity isn't enough. If Isaac was caught in an explosion, the heat wouldn't touch him, but the sheer force wouldn't be affected by his field at all and Isaac would still be blown to pieces. Like any other person, Isaac can be shot, stabbed, or strangled.
