I was thinking , a weekly prize sounds kinda nice for the Guild.
The winner(s) could be chosen via random selection and such at the end of every week (:
I'd be willing to chip in every week cat_blaugh
Those donating towards the "pot" :3
Pot Size - 1,700,000 Gold.
Sundosia - 500,000 Gold.
Samurai_Zatoichi - 100,000 Gold.
Fatal Proxy - 1,000,000 Gold.
Gear Bush - 100,000 Gold.

Fatal Proxy Samurai_Zatoichi this is a good idea i'd chip in too =) I've already programmed something that grabs three usernames at random and keeps a list of all the users in the guild cat_blaugh oh nice =D thats good. how much gold should i kick in? and or what is the range the prize should be?

Not a bad idea. Though, perhaps a monthly contest might to be horrible either.
A monthly tektek,design an av based on the theme, winner(s) announced on the last day of the month and the new theme announced the following day.
An art contest.....writing contest.
The prizes could be rarer items, or gold, depending on what's doable that month?
