Origins: If Beastmen are associated with beasts, fairies are in turn associated with insects although that isn't true. It is said that fairies were once a subspecies of Aswangs that were smaller than usual. They would have taken a liking to the insects of Ranfonn due to their similar sizes and opted to adopt insectoid traits until they remained trapped in said form.
Inherent Powers:
-Physical:
Small insect like wings allow them to fly. Some have antennae that they use as magic sensor or to enhance their sense of smell
Chemical grooves on their back allow them to emit light much like fireflies.
Some can release poisonous powder from their wings or have a poisonous bite. [Either one or the other] All poisons have been studied to produce a counter-venom. However, only major cities have the anti-venom for all of them in stock.
-Magic:
Affinity for magic, have a large reserve of energy and are very sensitive to it.
Inherent Weakness:
Their sizes make them very frail to physical and concussive attacks.
Black magic and necromancy. Just staying within the presence of someone using them make them sick and having it cast on them poisons them. Necromancy do not work on Fairy corpses, it will simply disintegrate it instead of reviving it.
Physical Description:
No taller than 30 cm with very large eyes. They also often possess antennae and grooves on their back containing different types of chemical that can be ignited to create light.
