☽ ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ ☾ Inside the Gun ☽ ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ ☾ History: Josette was born into the royal family of white. She grew up as a gentle princess, being tutored in the ways of the royalty. As she grew, she began to mold into the goodie goodie persona that the Whites are usually portrayed as, not the twisted partiers they were. She was calm, kind, and sweet. At the age of 5, her shifting powers were clear. Along the Carthew family tree, shifting powers were pass down, Some seemed to be able to shift into only one animal, some into any thing at all, Josette specializes in Sheep, Mice, Lioness, Rabbit, Humming Bird, Deer and Peacock. All have white fur, or are albino. One thing that is different about her shifting powers, that appears to be a growing power along the royal family and those in line for the throne. They seem to be able to turn their skin into marble, as though they were chess pieces. Over time, yet another power began to shine through, Josette can control Ice, It was clear after her fifth birthday, she was found in the throne room making it snow as she dances around in the winter wonderland. From that point on, the King and Queen sent her to a tutor, Seeing as the King was unable to control an element and could not teach her, while the Queen had no elemental powers of her own either. Not only this, Josette was sent to lessons to become the perfect little princess she needed to be, at least to appear as such.
As she became the perfect princess, she began to crave the darkness, almost like looking into the mosh pit of the Black Kingdom and wanted to join in, in their dark ways. When she was 16, she snuck out of the kingdom and into the Black Kingdom, and met a dark merchant in the Black Lake, and began to purchase potion ingredients to go with a spell book she found in the cart, along with a few talismans, and trinkets. She got back to the castle, and hid all of the dark items in a false back to her large closet. Josette began to practice the dark arts, with a few terrible outcomes as well as wonderful ones. When she was 18, she needed a king, and was desperate. Over time, she had fallen in love with her tutor, but he did not react to her flirting, and courting. She knew she could order him to marry her, but she was a lover, and craved to be loved. So one night she cast a love spell, and for extra measure, she slipped a love spell in his drink that same night, the naïve princess she was. Love spells and potions were extremely tricky, and only for experts, but mixed together... there were almost no possible positive outcome to this, but Josette was desperate. Late that night, he had apparently snuck across the castle's grounds and crept into her room, and due to the potion, he had instantly became obsessed with her. He attempted to rape the poor princess, but before he could get a hold of her, the guards heard her loud screams, and came to her rescue. The tutor still sits in the prisons today. She is much more experienced, and well rounded in the light and dark arts now, yet very few persons still know. Only the favorites, and the strong oracles of Green.
Few years down the road, The king died, and not long after, The Queen followed him to the grave, and Josette took the throne, and ruined over the White House without a king. That was until a knight caught her eye, Octavius. He was everything she wanted in a man, and soon their affair became official and they were wed, and to celebrate it, their wedding lasted a week straight. Both ruled the lands and there were peace across the kingdom, and many, many, festivals and parties. There were disappearances, and private executions, but they were nothing compared to modern day. Everything changed when the King was assassinated by a still unknown assassin. The Queen began to rule and act a bit differently. After she was done mourning her King, she seemed to act a bit more dark, and the Kingdom had no festival for 3 years. Nobles, and towns people began to disappear, or turn up with missing fingers or limbs. Thieves, and vandals were forced to return that was broken and/or stolen as well as perfectly clean up their mess, and then executed privately afterwards. However, after those three years, the Queen appeared to turn back to normal as she threw the first festival without her king, and it may have only lasted 24 hours, but it put her back into full swing. She still acted a bit dark, but she appears to be the dainty queen she was before. Personality: Josette almost always appears calm, and friendly. She is Loyal to those who are loyal to her, and will do anything for her friends, and this doesn't exclude killing. She appears delicate, and squeamish but once your alone with her, or in battle, she takes on a more dark persona. She still keeps hold on her good nature, it just becomes more sadistic. She says she's a lover, and is against violence, but this is untrue.
In plain terms, Josette is a dark, twisted, secretly violet, vegan, punk-rock, pacifist. Appearance: Josette always keeps herself in perfect care, accept her hair which seemed to have a mind of it's own. She would never seen wearing a dress that wasn't mostly white, or silver. She glides about her land as graceful as can be, almost as though she doesn't have legs and just slides along the massive chessboard. Her hands seem to float at ear level as she moves, adding to her grace. She never walks in curves, straight lines, and 90 degree turns even when she outside of her land. She will never move in a curved path, if forced it would appear to harm the 'dainty' queen. Her lipstick, eye makeup, and nail polish will always be dark as though she were still mourning the White King. She stands at a 5'7'' with her heels. Armor: She has no need for armor, Her marble skin is enough. Weapons: She possesses the Vorpal sword, but she would rarely use it. She is trained in swordsmanship as any other chess piece would be, but she isn't as skilled as she could be. She would prefer her Ice powers. Powers: ♔ Transformation- Like ever other White family member, she can shape shift. She can only shift into Seven animals. A Sheep, Mouse, Lioness, Rabbit, Humming Bird, Deer and Peacock, all white or albino. They are mostly for escape purposes or disguising herself, but she can also make a grand entrance. The transformation may seem to startle some who aren't expecting it.
♔ Dermal Armor- She has the ability to turn her skin marble like. It only chips or cracks from a wound from a sword, and doesn't effect her actual skin when she changes back, But blunt weapons is her stone skin's weakness. A blow from a blunt weapon can shatter, or crack her marble skin off, leaving a gash when she changes back, if hit hard enough. Usually she can heal relatively fast in marble form, but she can't stay in that form forever.
♔ Cryokinesis- Josette was also possesses a natural power. She can control and create ice. Ever since a child she could change temperatures round herself, and create ice. She has mastered this skill, though it isn't exactly a long ranged power.
♔ Physical Foreshadow- Josette looks at this one more of a burden more than a aid. Josette lives backwards in time to a degree (Which is why see seems to never age, even the King never knew her true age). It isn't anything strong, powerful, or even all that helpful to her. Some times she will taste something that she will eat tomorrow, or next week. Though more commonly, she will start to shriek in pain, and hold her finger as it begins to bleed, and claims she will cut it in 22.2 seconds, which in the end she will. This never seems to work in a big scale, so no matter how hard she tries, she cannot predict a battle. She cannot force it to work either, the power seems to effect her on it's own.

But even before she uses weapons, she would much sooner attack with her ice powers. Weaknesses: ♔ Fire
