This is an overview of the power levels of any and all characters. This is the amount of magical based powers that one can conjure up.
The number is how many spells you have the ability to cast per day.
The classification is the highest level of spell that you can cast without it blowing up in your face.

Core element spells refers to any spells that fall under your primary zodiac element.
Secondary spells refer to what you character chooses to learn as a second skill. If they do not choose to learn a secondary skill the secondary skill is not open to them.
Other spells include the elements that you do not have as your primary or secondary skill set.


A little about what to expect from each element:
Decay: The manipulation of rot and decay. Some are called necromancers.
Illusion: The manipulation of the senses, sight, smell, hearing and sometimes taste or feeling.
Time: The ability to speed up or slow down movements.
Space: The manipulation and creation of absent spaces. Teleportation, magic rooms from nowhere, etc.
Water: The ability to create and manipulate water.
Air: The ability to manipulate air in all it's forms.
Sound: The manipulation and creation of sound waves of varying degree.
Flora: The ability to commune with and manipulate plants. A notable person with this ability is Poison Ivy, she would be considered a level 4 by student standards.
Lightning: The ability to create lightning and conjure storms.
Fauna: The ability to commune with or morph into animals.
Earth: The manipulation of earth. Terra-forming, magnetic fields (via the metals in the earth)
Fire: The ability to create and manipulate fire.
Shadow: The manipulation of shadows by absence of light and the instilling of fear in others.
Spirit: Unique connection to the soul as well as an equal balance to earth, fire, water, and air. The four elements are of a secondary element status.

Number of Spells by Level


Level 1: 2-3 mundane core element spells. Most other spells backfire on them.
Level 2: 4-5 simple core element spells. 1-2 mundane secondary element spells. Little backlash expected.
Level 3: 6-8 average core element spells. 2-4 simple secondary element spells.
Level 4: 8- 12 strong core element spells. 5-7 average secondary spells. 1-3 simple other spells.
Level 5: 13-20 elite core element spells. 8-11 strong secondary spells. 4-6 average other spells.

Level 6: 20-25 elite core element spells. 12-15 elite secondary spells. 7-11 strong other spells.
Level 7: 26-32 elite core element spells. 15-20 elite secondary spells. 12-16 strong other spells.

Level 8: 33-38 elite core element spells. 21-28 elite secondary spells. 17-24 elite other spells.
Level 9: 39-50 elite core element spells. 29-40 elite secondary spells. 25-35 elite other spells.

Level 10: 51-98 elite core element spells. 41-87 elite big four spells. 36-76 elite other spells.

Races and Levels


gaia_star Say something below and use the post action "Random Number"

Students
gaia_star Human, Orc, Werewolf, Vampire, Imp, and Centaur are any Level (1 to 5)
gaia_star Grombies are only Levels 1, 2, or 3.
gaia_star Zombies are only Level 1 or 2.
gaia_star Elves are usually Level 4 or 5. Upon occasion there will be a Level 3.
There are two ways you can go about your character level. The first is to roll between 1 and 5 and pick a race that is allowed to be that number. The second is to pick a race and roll a number range that the race is allowed.

Teachers & Staff
gaia_star Grombie and Zombie are only level 5.
gaia_star Other races are Level 6 or 7.

Zodiacs
gaia_star Zodiac member are level 8 or 9.


Your first roll will determine what level your first character is. Roll between 1 and 5 for students, 5 to 7 for teachers and 8 or 9 for zodiacs.
Should you choose to make more characters simply make another post with another roll.

You can also do a random 1-10 roll to see what your avatar's level would be. As in if I rolled a 6 for this roll then Mishi Tanaka would be a level 6.

Mundane Spells by Zodiac
Mundane spells are the basic level of spell casting. Things like conjuring your element in small amounts or moving your element over a small area or distance.


Decay
1 Cause Stench: causes target object to radiate a foul rotten stench that has a radius of 8 feet. The effect can last up to 20 minutes and cannot be washed off by normal means.

Illusion
1 Blur Vision: causes the target's vision to blur in a kaleidoscope of colors, may also cause sickness as a side effect.

Time
1 Slow Pace: causes target's movement to be slowed. target would still think they are moving at normal speed while everyone around them would see them move in slow motion. This would also cause the target to see people bur by them.

Space
1 Displaced: can teleport object up to the size of a shoe box to a distance of 20 meters.

Water
1 Create Water: forms a bubble of water seemingly out of nowhere.

Air
1 Float: lifts the caster off the ground for a full minute allowing them to hover up to 3 feet above ground.

Sound
1 Audio Wave: cause a small sonic wave that can travel a distance of up to 20 meters it would be the equivalent of having a boombox sound without the boombox.

Flora
1 Plant Talk: causes a plant to be able to speak in human tongues for up to 2 minutes.

Lightning
1 Spark: creates a small electrostatic ball that can be thrown by caster (or those of the same element). It detonates after 30 seconds and sends a small shock cone out in a radius of 10 feet.

1 Aminal talk: as with plant talk but target must be an animal rather than a plant.

Earth
1 Rumble: causes the ground to rumble in a radius of 10 feet. the caster can be no further away than 15 feet from target center.

1 Create Fire: creates a small fire orb seemingly out of nowhere. Last as long as one is concentrated on it.

1 Shadow Dance: causes caster's shadow to come alive and move of it's own accord. Shadow can be no more that 10 feet away from caster.

Simple Spells by Zodiac
Simple is the second level of magic spells one can cast. When one can cast as this level all mundane spells increase in range or duration by 15% give or take. Simple spells also include the secondary skill set or beginner's specialized spells.

I now hereby open this thread for talk about the spells that should or should not be in the various lists.


The first roll determines what level your first character is. After that it's each roll for a new character ... so a total of 3 rolls can be made.

Roll a random number between 1 and 10 to determine what your Avatar's level is.
