Hi everyone c: I'm new to your guild. Aapse milkur kushi hui!
I've just started learning Hindi. It's great that a lot of my fiends speak it, so I can practice with them, but I was wondering if anybody here knew of helpful online resources? Anything you could recommend would be great & very much appreciated.
& if any of you wouldn't mind practicing with me, that would be just super, too!

Lol its ok :3 So why u learning hindi any special reason? smile
In my job I meet lots of people who's first language is Hindi, plus quite a few of my friends can speak it.
I thought it would be nice if I could speak to our customers - in fact it's kind of respectful to make an effort, I think. Plus I can learn & chat with my friends.

I'm not that learned yet c:
"What is the weather like in London?" ?? If that is what you asked, I'm not sure because meim Birmingham mem reheti heim. (Again, apologies about my attempts to spell this phonetically!
I'm learning the vowels & their forms at the moment. So far I've had a look at: अ, आ, इ, ई, उ, ऊ, ऋ, ए, ऐ, ओ & औ & just a few basic words, like बिल्ली, उल्लू & पानी. I was so pleased with myself when I managed to work out how 'water' would sound phonetically after looking at the Hindi word, earlier *achievement of the day* 4laugh
