✧ The Forest of Stars ✧
In the day, this forest looks fairly normal, if not a little darker than most, but at night, the forest is quite the sight to behold. The darkness of the forest is chased away by small orbs of light, balls of gas that burn like small suns. These little suns are no bigger than a firefly and tend to float around slowly as though they have minds of their own. Travelers mistake them all the time to be the little lightning bugs, or even Will O' the Wisps, and will at times follow the little suns around only to be lead in circles for hours.The truth on the balls of gas is that a witch once lost her way in the unusually dark forest, so she laid a curse on the forest as a whole. Her curse was meant to be a helpful one, since she viewed the darkness as a hated crime the trees committed. Despite the curse, the forest is fairly normal, if you dare brave the darkness at all. Eve with the suns, this forest is dangerous, and people go missing or turn up dead all the time.
