Surface communities
The surface is known for its diversity in both races and cultures. Although in general they are more peaceful than the Underworlders, they have civilizations of both extremes.

The Elves~ruled by Valisilwen Narendeil~
The Narendeil Empire is the strongest Elven civilization and are known for their brilliant mages and reliable archers. They are centered in an old forest with towering trees. Despite what one may think, they are not peaceful beings as shown in the vast empire they had conquered.
Their leader is a young and inexperienced woman by the name of Valisilwen. She had inherited her father's position once the old man had tragically died during the quake during a diplomatic meeting. Valisilwen is a carefree girl at heart and despises her responsibilities, but despite that, she loves her people very much and will do anything for their greater good.
