Well that was interesting...
Bolin becoming the first film actor (I guess), and Mako breaking up with Korra... LOLOL.
But it's cool seeing Meelo's future as a leader...Since he and his sisters will be the next leaders of the Air Nomads and Acolytes (Non benders). But Meelo is the heir of the male line, and that is extra important.
So hmmm, this episode wasn't good enough to me... to much going on in one episode though. Though it's interesting that even in the Avatar State, she couldn't calm down a spirit. It's also interesting spirits don't really appear as animals, or humanoids now, but just strange almost formless creatures...

But Meelo is the heir of the male line, and that is extra important. I fail to see how any of that is relevant. Tenzin is never really shown to be the leader of the Air Acolytes, only the representative of the Air Nomads on the Council. And how is it that Meelo's maleness is so important? Do you think that Jinora and Ikki's Airbending genes are less capable of being passed on to their children because they're female? [quote Though it's interesting that even in the Avatar State, she couldn't calm down a spirit. It seemed that she stopped though before it was fully calmed down. And how is a squid formless again?

Well I suppose it is a Squid, but I mean in the sense that previously, they actually did look like the animals they represented... Now they just either shiny or dark silhouettes of them. I suppose you COULD take that as some kind of sign of the turmoil between the human and spirit worlds... And I didn't mean that Ikki and Jinora weren't important... I just mean that Male lines are seen as important. Yeah, that sounds "sexist" but it's damn true. The Air Nomads need both male and female Airbenders to keep the Airbending strong in the blood. Also, male features are more likely to be dominate in offspring. Though it's interesting that Aang's and Katara's kids Bumi, Kya and Tenzin have Aang's hair, yet all have blue eyes like Waterbenders. Aang has brown eyes, which is actually scientifically proven as a dominate feature in genes. So Obviously Katara DOMINATED AANG. Though Tenzin and Bumi definitely have Aang's facial features mostly. Kya seems mainly like, well yah know. THough I still think Meelo is really important. Obviously Jinora and Ikki are as well, but Meelo... very. Oh and Tenzin is definitely the leader of the Air Nomads and Acolytes. He kind of has to be by default, the Acolytes FOLLOWED Aang and were originally his FANCLUB. Tenzin is Aang's HEIR. So that is how it all comes down too.

This has been my favorite episode in season 2. It was really interesting. Im really sad that Mako and Korra broke up Dx as you see in my signature, i ship Makorra hardcore. xD I still knew it was coming, though. I hope they get back together. <3 Maybe Asami and Bolin will be together... hmmm.... It was funny when Lin was like "You should of saw Air Temple Island after Tenzin broke up with me." Lol!

I dislike how shallow Korra and Mako's relationship is. It's terribly angsty, and it just makes things more awkward in a situation that shouldn't even bother with such trivial things. >.> Stinking teenagers.
Eska is now a shallow character to me, as well. And Bolin. You know what?
EVERYONE IS SHALLOW, EXCEPT MEELO.

It's such a one-sided characteristic, though. I hoped she'd be driven by more than some delusional dream. emotion_donotwant

I hoped she'd be driven by more than some delusional dream. emotion_donotwant No, it's not that... it's the fact that she has grown up with a Twin, Twins do everything together (That isn't a cliche either) and For her to get a boyfriend, she expects him to do the same. She also always got what she wanted, most likely, due to being a Chief's daughter. Probably why she is always bored. No challenge. Bolin is a challenge, hence why she wants him. Probably also is actually attracted to him. Like she is actually wanting an actual relationship, though obviously it's screwed up via her control freak syndrome.

Qyp I do understand all of that. I'm mostly mad at the fact that she went after Korra without a second thought. If there was a more solid reason, then I would have been looking forward to the confrontation. But not like this. Crazy ice lady. emotion_donotwant I cannot be satisfied with this turn of events.

Oh you mean... oh... She went after Korra because she "took" Bolin away... yeah, I get you now... but she didn't mean Korra was with BOlin, though I guess if she was jealous with just Bolin hugging her... well... I suppose she is crazy enough to think anything up...

I don't understand her logic-- if there is any to begin with. emotion_facepalm But it's fine. Korra will do awesome stuff next episode and figure out how to control spirits thanks to this!! Captcha: no dice Lol, I hope that wasn't a bad fortune to what I just said.

Is it wrong that I think Mako did the right thing for once? Korra was incredibly biased and not thinking straight. Her home was in danger, I get that, but Mako was examining every possibility, rather than just assuming it was the Northern Water Tribe who set off the explosion. Korra was blinded by the need to protect her people, which caused a bit of heat in the situation. Ironically, the firebender managed to handle things with a cool head, until the break-up. I normally hate Mako, but in this episode, he was a good cop, using logic to go after the real culprit, while no one else took him seriously.
This episode is literally the only time I respected him.
