Personality: Kali is very headstrong and has some issues with authority. She does what her heart tells her to do, even if she isn't sure how it is all going to play out in the end. She never gives up, even when the rest of the world is telling her to lay down her arms. She is quick to temper and to fight, and pushes others away. There is a softer side of her that she doesn't let many people see. She often appears angry. Kali is honest to a fault.
History:
Kali was born to Aaron and Sarah Zane. Her father was a firefighter and her mother was a scientist who worked on project S-666. This project was funded by the American government in hopes to find a way to create mutants that could be controlled and trained to essentially kill other mutants, because humans were too afraid and often did not have the means to. The embryo was injected with a serum that would speed up the process of he mutant gene, thus he babies would be born with their powers. If the child would be of no use, the child ceased to exist. Those who survived were called Meta's. Because they were neither humans nor natural mutants.
Her mother died giving a premature birth to Kali. Her father, who had connections with Xavier's School, took Kali and hid her in Arizona, where he wanted to keep her until she was old enough to attend school. At that point, she would be taken to Xavier's institute.
Rumor has it that the U.S. government set the fire that killed Aaron. Either way, Kali was taken by the scientists and trained to become the world's most feared weapon. She was good at what she did, whether or not she liked to do it. She was given hundreds of missions and attempted to escape over 78 times. Each time was unsuccessful. Still, Kali is the last Meta in existence.

Powers and Personal Weaknesses
Powers: Kali has the ability to create and manipulate fire, using her body heat. Her average temperature is higher than most, not high enough to burn but definitely hot to the touch. She can set herself on fire, without being burned.
Weaknesses: Kali's power is weak against water, ice and strong wind. She also has a weakened immune system (not deadly, just weaker than the average creature).
