Rules

1. Follow Gaia's TOS.
2. Do not say what other characters are doing.
3. If an NPC is present keep it fluid between posts. For example is one person says the npc is under the big oak facing north staring at the setting sun the next person could not say they are seated behind a desk on the south watching the moonrise.
4. Additional rules may be made by the crew and captains as we find the guild requires them to be made.

History of Zodai Magika



The thin veil between the world of the Zodiac and all of Gaia continually grew thinner and thinner as those who lived in Gaia began to forget the members of the zodiac and their reasons. Veil, the spirit of the the zodiac, created a school on the border feeling that the veil between was growing weak and about to break. She sent out messages to gaians with special abilities in hopes that they would show the zodiac that they were still believed in.
The gaians however ...
just wanted to learn the magick themselves.
Feeling their intentions caused Veil to create the school much to the dislikeing of the zodiac members. When at last the veil broke, Veil was there to greet the gaians and welcome them to the land beyond the veil. A land created long ago by some of the strongest makgical beings ever known. Here, the gaians would learn to wield the four elements that were at their core.

TekTek Creation: This tek tek is your non class style. The school has "uniforms" that are not found on gaia as they will be of the staff's creation.
Name: Any thing you want including your user name if you so choose (save for the zodiac ... zodiac will have assigned names)
Race: Zodiac(zodiac members only), Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Grombie, Orc, Werewolf, Vampire, Imp, Centaur, or Zombie.
Age: Students should be between 13 and 18 years of age as these are the "prime learning years" as far as magic goes. 13 is the base age because it would be the age considered to be when your magic begins to develop.
Gender: Male, Female, Both, Neither.
Grade: age appropriate grade level as with the real world, you can however be more advanced or less advanced if you so choose but don't be an 18 year old in the 7th grade or a 13 year old in the 12th grade please.
Class: What type of classes you are willing to teach should go here. sometimes there will be a specific class in mind when you fill in this part. It's basically putting in your application for a teaching job at the school. The school would still require the mundane classes like math and science.
Job: This would include things such as chef, cleaners, and gardeners of course all are allowed to use their magical abilities to help them with their tasks.

Zodiac: You may use a post action here to determine what section/element your character is part of. (You may make a total of 2 characters to start with.)
If you are going to portray a zodiac member you are automatically that zodiac.
If you are a zombie or grombie this is your before death element. Your after death element will be Decay due to being instill with a form or living death decay and rot.
Background: This should just be a brief history of your character ... possibly including where you were when you received the letter to the school and how you feel about going to the school. You could also put in a little bit about your character's personality. Please do not write any more than 3 long paragraphs. We don't need overly detailed accounts of your character's whole life ... just the footnotes will be fine.
Other: Please make sure to post the profile (without post actions) in the Profiles thread in the main forum of Zodai Magika.
