Hey guys, I'm brand new to EDH and thought It looked cool so here I go
I'm planning on building a WU Soldier EDH deck with Augustin as my commander, would that be viable?

If you can find/afford the cards, any EDH deck is viable.

Well what kind of blue white solider deck do you want to make aggro, control, token spawn?

well, mostly Token spawn with buffs from cards like Spirit General, Captain of the Watch, Veteran Armorsmith and Veteran Swordsmith, with some control from stuff like Martial Law and Azorius Arrester, and general counters

kualus457 well, mostly Token spawn with buffs from cards like Spirit General, Captain of the Watch, Veteran Armorsmith and Veteran Swordsmith, with some control from stuff like Martial Law and Azorius Arrester, and general counters Lavinia of the Tenth and conjurers closet is a annoying combination. Elspeth planswalkers can work for solider spawn like, Elspeth, Knight-Errant and make every thing you own indestructible and Elspeth, Sun’s Champion. You could run some of the mono white orzhov cards like blind obedience and you will get to extort every time you play a card. Heliod, God of the Sun would be good and he makes all your creatures have vigilance for tokens phantom general and Intangible Virtue. Spear of Heliod for buff and control

Awesome, thanks for the ideas, but I thought you couldn't use another Legendary within your commander deck?

Go with what you want and twik it as you go it will turn into something great in no time at all,
I started a Molimo Maro Sorcerer deck and it took me a while to get it just right, now its pretty nasty.
