November is my birthday month, but that is not why it is a special month to me. It is a special month because it is diabetes awareness month. I have been living with type one diabetes for almost six years now. If you have any questions about diabetes feel free to ask.

November IS a special month.
Not only is it also my birthmonth, it's fall changing over to winter and just is soooo beautiful. I adore it.
I don't know anything about diabetes. neutral

November is a special month for a lot of great causes, and ever since I met one of my friends who has type 1 I felt more aware even my own health, really.
I don't have any questions to ask, but I just wanted to share that I think it's fascinating in a way how a disease like diabetes gives one a greater appreciation for their body. Ever since I learned from him what it's like to have it (he's dealt with it since he was in elementary school) I learned just how much he respects himself, and how responsible he is, and it really influenced me for the better too 3nodding
