A mouthy she-cat, Dapplepaw has a sarcastic remark to nearly anything; luckily she knows how to hold her tongue. She hates being judged, especially if it has to due with her kittypet heritage and will often go out of her way to try and prove others wrong. Only her littermates and mentor know how much of a worrier she is, for she hides it well, and her nerves are easily rattled.

Dapplepaw is the youngest out of her litter, and also the quietest. When she and her littermates were still kittypets she'd often play with her brother, the two under the watchful gaze of both their mother and older sister; they never had enough time to get into trouble. When the three kits decided to leave their home and kin, Dapplepaw was the only one to voice a complaint, afraid to leave their mother more than anything. However, she was more afraid of losing her siblings and so in the middle of the night the three left, leaving their mother without a goodbye. It took only a month after joining Lotusclan that the newly named Dapplepaw realized that the life of the warrior was not for her; her reaction times were slow and the thought of ever harming another cat sent shivers down her spine. It was by Starclan's grace that she was accepted by the medicine cat and taken on as their apprentice. Now she's determined to become the best for her clan, while also looking after her siblings.
