A conflict could occur when the rancher captures/buys a Centaur to help do the hard work around the farm like plowing the fields. The Centaur, being prideful, adamantly refuses to help, and so the farmer must find a way to bend the stubborn beasty to his/her will.

I had an idea where a succubus gets tired of being the lusty creature she is and seeks to gain souls that are more worthwhile, and finds that they are a bit harder to get. She takes advantage of a man with a particularly delicious soul, the head of a crime syndicate in a desperate situation, by allowing him to bind her in a contract to his young son in order to protect him from enemies, and in return she would get her payment of the man's soul upfront. The only problem is, the man sucked at making an effective contract. The terms are chock full of loopholes, making it so the succubus was not contractually bound to obey her young master's commands. The succubus takes care of the boy for years until he finally reaches maturity, then begins to reveal her supernatural abilities until he unearths the truth of her species. Now he must tolerate her constant flirtations and unruly behavior, lest he crumble and decide to bind her in a new contract to him that would keep her from being so disobedient and lewd, but would come at the cost of his own soul. I originally schemed the plot to be straight with female succubus and male master, but I could also do a male incubus and a male master. Whatever tickles your fancy~

A young man or woman human is one of the youngest criminal masterminds of his/her time, and runs a powerful and successful crime syndicate. He/she is bound to make moves to muscle his/her way into politics and make a major impact upon the world as we know it. Just as he/she is preparing plans for blackmailing his/her way into controlling a major politician, the mastermind is suddenly attacked by a dark entity that kills his/her bodyguards and almost ends him/her as well. He/she passes out, the last thing he/she remembers seeing being a flash of light and a flourish of white feathers. When he/she comes to, it is revealed that an angel had saved him/her. The angel explained to the mastermind that he/she was being targeted by agents of hell, as his/her soul would play a part of the destruction of mankind if reaped successfully. The angel explained that he/she would protect the mastermind and pose as his/her servant so as to not rouse suspicion. However, the angel would only follow orders that would not contribute to the further corruption of his/her liege's soul. In fact, the angel intends to help redeem the mastermind's soul so it would no longer be desired by the demons. There will be a bit of power-play, as the angel will outright refuse to follow any orders that are deemed sinful (killing, stealing, or harming others without reason, etc.). I would love to be the angel and would almost prefer the angel to be male, though I could do female if persuaded. Human can be male or female, whichever you like~
