CC/GB/Random customs are 90% up to me to design. You can give me one basic color, and one word of inspiration, but the rest of the design will be a surprise.

Semi-Customs are more of a 50-50. Give me 3 color(or a color palette), and up to 3 design/inspiration words. This I think is the best method to get a nice design, since it's both specific guidelines, and artistic freedom.

Full customs require the most detail on your end. The more detail, the better. Make sure I know what colors go where, what kind of markings, and if you need to, picture references for markings/patterns/etc are very helpful, since word to image translations can go kind of wonky. Full customs will get ONE chance to slightly change the 'final' product.
