Breeding among Pixiu is a mixing of ki. When two Pixiu come together, the spiritual overlap will sometimes physically manifest in the form of a talisman or totem. Once these tiny charms are formed, the energy they contain will incubate, absorbing negative energies around it until it is strong enough to take on a life of its own.

Breeding Methods

Basic Breeding
30K
3 to 6 possible offspring

This is a breeding between two owned Pixiu. Breeding Regulars with Minis will have a 25% chance (per cub) that it will be a mini. Breeding two Mini will have a 50% chance of Mini offspring. Each owner may keep one offspring. The rest will find their homes elsewhere. Original owners may try to win extra offspring through raffles, ONLY if certain criteria are met.
1. 20+ people participate in the raffle. Owners may only enter one extra raffle each.
2. 3 RP have been completed (1500 words. RP's may not be reused for future breedings)

Solo Breeding
15K
1 to 3 possible offspring

This is a breeding between one owned Pixiu and one banner* pixiu. The first cub from a Solo breeding will be guaranteed a Regular Pixiu. Additional cubs will have a 25% chance of being a Mini. The original owner may keep one offspring. The rest will find their homes elsewhere.
* Banner Pixiu are the little guys you see up in each of the banners! They are considered wild Pixiu, but they deserve love just like everyone else :3

Mystery Breeding
10K
1 to 3 possible offspring

This style of breeding is similar to the solo breeding, however, the banner* pixiu will be chosen by a roll of the dice.

Custom Breeding
20K per cub
Max 6 offspring

This breeding can be between two owned Pixiu, or as a Solo breeding. Cubs will be semi-customed, with key points from both parents pointed out for each cub that the owner(s) would like shown.

When a breeding is accepted, your post will be quoted, and the Mini chance will be rolled (unless it's 2 regular pixiu). For Regular X Mini, 4 sided dice will be rolled for each cub. 1 = Mini offspring, 2, 3, and 4 = Regular offspring. For Mini X Mini, 4 sided dice will be rolled for each cub. Evens = Mini offspring, Odds = Regular offspring.

Upon posting, Roll a 4 sided dice. 1 = 3 cubs, 2 = 4 cubs, 3 = 5 cubs, 4 = 6 cubs

For Custom breedings, be as descriptive as you can. The more specific you are, the closer your cubs will come out like you want. The less descriptive you are, the more 'free reign' I'll have over the design (Unless you want that, and just want to make sure you get a certain number of cubs, lol.) Remember, if your pixiu is an offspring, you can pull some markings/colors from their parents as well. Yay recessive traits!
