Despite it’s name there are not 100 colonies in the 100 Worlds although there are still quite a few. The original 5 and the largest colonies for the most part are Orion, Vilentte, Calcia, Sellica, and Ur. Just like the separate countries of Earth each of the individual colonies that make up the faction have their own cultures and indentities. They are allowed even more independence than the countries of Earth however and answer to a central government only superficially. The colonies are widely spaced but close enough that there is almost always another colony with a days shuttle flight.
